Let me start by saying that there is a lot more that I could do to this Glock, and perhaps I will change some things and/ or add to it in the future…
But for right now, here’s a complete breakdown of what I’ve done…
1. Glock 45
This gun started as a normal 9mm Glock 45. I like the compact slide and the full-size grip that the G45 offers because it feels really balanced in your hand and the full-size grip makes it easier to get a solid hold on the gun…
That makes this gun easier to shoot fast, and I also intend to get a holster for this gun, so I can work it into my carry rotation…

2. “X” Carry Slide Cut by Boogeyman Customs
I sent the slide of my Glock 45 off to Boogeyman Customs and the slide work package that I opted for is called the “X” Carry…
I got an RMR slide cut for my optic, and chose Graphite Black as the Cerakote color…
All the machining work done on this slide is extremely clean. I love the way it looks, and it allows me to mount my optic directly to the slide of my G45…

3. Holosun 407C
I love the Holosun 507C and the Holosun 407C because they’re super durable pistol optics, and they’re much more affordable than many other options such as the Trijicon RMR…
They’re also packed with useful features like ultra-long battery life, Shake Awake technology (to save you battery life), a side loading battery tray (so you can change the battery without removing the optic from your slide), and a solar failsafe…
I also like the simple 2 MOA dot reticle found on the 407C because I find it to be fast and easy to acquire and very precise at the same time…

The light I chose for this build is the Streamlight TLR-1 HL…
It’s super bright at 1,000 Lumens and mounts easily onto the Glock 45’s rail…
Aside from providing illumination in low-light situations, this weapon light adds weight to the Glock’s frame and makes it a little easier to shoot.
