/ by
trybe defense glock slide

I love modifying my Glocks…

In fact, I don’t own one that’s been left fully in it’s factory form…

And one of the best places to modify or upgrade your Glock is actually in the slide…

The reason why is because it gives your gun a whole new look, and more importantly, it can allow you to mount an optic (which helps you shoot faster and more accurately)…

Now one of the best aftermarket Glock slides that combines high quality features with a reasonable price tag is the Trybe Defense Glock Slide

And in this Trybe Defense Glock slide review, I’m going to explain what you get with 8 different Trybe Glock slide variations…

In the end, you’ll have a solid understanding of what you get with the Trybe Defense slides, and you should have all the information you need to determine which one is going to work best for you…

Below, I’ll give you a more detailed Trybe Defense Glock slide review for each of these awesome slides…

1. Trybe Defense Glock 19 Pistol Slide Version 1

trybe defense glock 19 pistol slide

The first slide on my list is the Trybe Defense Glock 19 Pistol Slide Version 1, and it’s a fantastic Glock slide for many reasons…

First of all, this slide is constructed from heat treated 416R Stainless Steel, which makes it very strong and robust…

And it also features a sleek design that incorporates front slide serrations and windows…

The front slide serrations are very grippy, which makes it easier to manipulate your Glock, and the windows help to lighten your slide for a faster recoil impulse and to balance out the weight of the optic that you’ll probably be putting on your slide…

Speaking of optics, you can get this slide with one of 4 optics cuts, and those cuts include:

Out of those 4 options, my favorite would be the Trijicon RMR cut because it gives you the most options in terms of which optic you choose to mount on your Trybe Defense slide…

And my top pick would be the Holosun 507c

Aside from that, you can get this slide in both black and flat dark earth (FDE), which is really cool…

And it doesn’t matter which generation of Glock frame you’re looking to put it on either because it’s offered for Gen’s 1, 2, and 3. It’s offered for Gen 4’s, and it’s offered for Gen 5 Glocks…

All in all, this is an awesome slide if you want to upgrade your Glock 19 with an optic, front slide serrations, and a new sleek look.

2. Trybe Defense Glock 19 Pistol Slide Version 2

trybe defense glock 19 pistol slide review

Much like the Version 1, the Trybe Defense Glock 19 Pistol Slide Version 2 is a fantastic upgrade for your Glock 19…

It’s also made from heat treated 416R stainless steel, and it features a different look to the Version 1 with more windows toward the front of the slide and some cool knurling toward the rear…

It also comes with optic cuts for the Trijicon RMR, Leupold Delta Point Pro, Vortex Venom, and Vortex Viper…

And it can be had in a black or flat dark earth cerakote finish…

Last, this Version 2 Trybe Glock Slide can be had in a Gen 1,2, and 3 compatible model, in a Gen 4 compatible model, and in a Gen 5 compatible model…

So no matter which generation of Glock 19 you’re running, you’ll be able to get the most out of it with this super cool slide.

3. Trybe Glock 17 Slide Version 1

trybe glock 17 slide

If you have a Glock 17, the Trybe Glock 17 Slide Version 1 is a great option and gives you the same great features that you get from the Trybe Glock 19 Version 1 slide…

For example, the Trybe Glock 17 slide is constructed from that same heat treated 416R stainless steel…

And it also has the Trybe Glock slide version 1 front and rear serrations which are very grippy and give you a lot of ways you can charge the weapon…

And it also features those same windows toward the front of the slide, to give you a faster recoil impulse and to balance out the weight of the optic you put on your gun…

This slide can also be had in the same 4 optics cuts as the Trybe Glock 19 slide, and again those are: the Trijicon RMR cut, the Delta Point Pro cut, the Vortex Venom cut, and the Vortex Viper cut (again, my favorite is the RMR cut because you can mount a Holosun 507C on it)…

Last, this slide is made for all generations of Glocks, just be sure to choose the correct generation when you select one to purchase, and you can also choose between the black finish or the flat dark earth finish as well.

All in all, this slide is the perfect upgrade if you want to upgrade the slide on your Glock 17 without breaking the bank.

4. Trybe Glock 17 Slide Version 2

trybe defense glock 17 slide

Like the Trybe Glock 17 Slide Version 1, the Version 2 gives you all the same great features, just in the version 2 design…

So you get a different look, more windows toward the front of your slide (which is cool when you want to show of your Glock’s barrel), and the knurling at the rear of the slide rather than more traditional serrations…

Just like the rest of the Trybe Glock slide series, the slide is made from 416R stainless steel which has been heat treated for strength…

And you can get it with an optic cut for the Trijicon RMR footprint, the Delta Point Pro footprint, the Vortex Venom footprint, or the Vortex Viper footprint…

Last, this slide design is available for any generation of Glock, and you can get it in standard black of Trybe’s flat dark earth cerakote color!

5. Trybe Defense Glock 43/43X Pistol Slide Version 1

trybe glock slide

Next on the list is the Trybe Glock 43/43X Slide Version 1. This slide is similar to many of the Trybe Glock slides, but there are a few key differences…

First of all, this slide like all the Trybe Defense Glock series slides, is made from 416R stainless steel which has been heat treated to make it stronger…

Aside from that, it includes the same design elements that are typical of the version 1 slides from Trybe such as the front and rear serrations and the windows…

And it also comes in a black finish and a flat dark earth finish…

Now, because the Glock 43 and 43X are slimline conceal carry pistols, these Trybe Glock slides are cut with the RMSc optic footprint, which has pretty much become the standard footprint for smaller miniature red dots

If you’re looking for an optic to fit this footrpint, I highly recommend you take a look at the Holosun 507K

Regardless, this is another fantastic Glock slide that’s offered from Trybe Defense.

trybe defense glock 43_43x pistol slide

Just as with the other models on this list, Trybe Defense offers a Glock 43/43X slide in their Version 2 design…

Just as with the Version 1, it made from heat treated 416R stainless steel, and it has the V2 design of multiple forward window cuts and knurling in the rear…

It’s also available in black or FDE, and it’s set up with an RMSc optic cut, so you can easily mount a small, slim optic to it…

All in all, it’s another great option if you’re running a Glock 43, or 43X.

7. Trybe Defense Glock 26 Pistol Slide Version 1

trybe defense glock slide review

It’s kind of an older concealed carry gun, but that doesn’t mean the Glock 26 is no longer a great carry option, and luckily, with the Trybe Glock 26 Slide Version 1, you’ll be able to get the most out of your carry gun…

With this Trybe Glock slide you’re getting that same heat treated 416R stainless steel, and you also get the same design features that all V1 Trybe slides feature such as the windows and grippy front and rear slide serrations…

Right now, this slide is only available in a Glock Gen 3 and Gen 4 model, but it does come with one of the 4 optics cuts that Trybe is known for (Trijicon RMR, Delta Point Pro, Vortex Venom, and Vortex Viper)…

Last, it comes in black or FDE, and it’s a great option if you’re running a Glock 26 as a carry gun or even just as a fun range shooter.

8. Trybe Defense Glock 26 Pistol Slide Version 2

trybe defense slide

The final slide on my list is the Trybe Defense Glock 26 Slide Version 2, and if you’ve been paying attention, you probably already know much of what you’re going to get from it…

With this slide you’re getting heat treated 416R stainless steel and the Version 2 features that are typical of a Trybe Defense Slide such as the window cuts and rear knurling…

Just like the V1 Glock 26 slide from Trybe it can be had in black or FDE, and it’s also offered in 4 optic cut models (RMR, Delta Point Pro, Vortex Venom, and Vortex Viper)…

Last, it’s available for Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glock 26’s, and as with all products from Trybe Defense, it’s built to be affordable and high quality.

Best Trybe Defense Charging Handle [Top 5 List]

/ by
<a href=Trybe Defense charging handle ” class=”wp-image-9297″/>

The AR-15 gets so much of it’s design right…

It’s accurate, it’s reliable, it’s lightweight, and the ergonomics are near perfect…

But there is one area of the design that I think needs an upgrade over the standard government part… And that part is the charging handle…

The standard mil-spec charging handle is simply too small to easily manipulate with one hand, and that manipulation is limited to one side…

Now if you’re looking to upgrade your rifle’s charging handle, there are a ton of great aftermarket options…

That said, one of the best I’ve found that combines both features and an affordable price tag is the Trybe Defense Charging Handle

And truth be told, Trybe Defense actually makes several versions of their charging handle to go with various firearms platforms…

So, below I’ll share with you a list of the Top 5 Trybe charging handles…

And then by the end of this post, you’ll have a good understanding of which one of the Trybe Defense charging handles is right for you…

Let’s get started…

Trybe Defense Charging Handle – A Quick Summary…

The best Trybe Defense charging handle is their Ambidextrous Magnite Charing Handle. It’s the best because it’s built from Magnite, which makes it strong and lightweight. It’s also ambidextrous, as the name implies, and the levers are long on both sides, which will give you clearance from scopes and other large optics…

Below, I’ll discus the Trybe Magnite Ambidextrous charging handle in more detail, and I’ll also share with you 4 other charging handle offerings from Trybe Defense.

1. Trybe Defense Ambidextrous Magnite Charging Handle

trybe defense ambidextrous enhanced mil-spec charging handle for ar-15

The first Trybe charging handle on my list is the Trybe Defense Ambidextrous Magnite Charging Handle, and there are several reasons why…

First of all, this is the Trybe Defense charging handle that is built for the standard 5.56/.223 AR 15 platform…

And just by looking at it, I’m sure you can tell that the lever’s are ambidextrous and extended…

This allows you to easily manipulate your charing handle with one hand, even if you have a scope on your AR

And obviously, it can be done whether you’re a left-handed or right handed shooter…

Another realy cool feature of this charing handle is that it’s constructed from Magnite, which is a material that’s around 30% lighter that 6061 T6 aluminum, and it’s also stronger as well…

The levers on this charging handle also have grippy texturing, so you’ll be able to charge your rifle (or clear malfunctions) even in wet or slippery conditions…

And it features a Hexagonal Electro Nickel Boron Nitride Coating, which reduces friction and makes charging your rifle super smooth…

All in all, the Trybe Defense Magnite Ambi charing handle is one of the best charging handles on the market, and it also comes in at a competitive price point considering what you get.

2. Trybe Defense AR-10 Ambidextrous Enhanced Mil-Spec Charging Handle

The next charing handle on the list is the Trybe Defense AR-10 Ambidextrous Enhanced Mil-Spec Charging Handle, and obviously, this is an option if you have an AR-10 style rifle which fires 7.62/.308 rounds…

The charging handle is constructed from 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum, and it’s built to be tough…

It’s also ambidextrous, which is great for right-handed and left-handed shooters, and the levers are long which gives you more control when manipulating your rifle…

On top of that, this charging handle also features a hard coat anodized coating, which will help it remain corrosion free, and the levers are textured to give you a bit of extra grip when charging your rifle or clearing malfunctions…

Last, this charging handle allows you to smoothly charge your rifle, and it’s also very reasonably priced…

If you’re looking for a charging handle for an AR-10, it’s just a no-brainer.

3. Trybe Defense Ambidextrous Charging Handle for Sig Sauer MCX

trybe ambi charging handle

Another fantastic Trybe Charging Handle option is the Trybe Defense Ambidextrous Charging Handle for the Sig Sauer MCX…

The Sig MCX has been gaining in popularity in recent years (along with an number of other Sig guns), and even though it’s no where near the level of the AR-15 in terms of popularity, there are a lot of these rifles out there…

So if you have an MCX and want to upgrade the charging handle that comes standard from Sig, the Trybe Defense is a great option…

For starters, this charging handle is constructed from 7075-T6 Aluminum, so it’s super strong and built for hard use…

On top of that, it also gives you a nice, smooth pull when charging your MCX, and it features a Mil-Spec Type 3 Hard Coat Anodized coating, which means it can handle rainy or wet conditions without fear that it’ll start to corrode…

It is, as the name says, ambidextrous, as all charging handles should be at this point, and the long levers on each side give you plenty of clearance if your running a scope or large optic on your MCX…

All in all, this charging handle is a fantastic upgrade if you want to soup up your MCX and take it to the next level.

4. Trybe Defense Ambidextrous Charging Handle for Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22

trybe defense charging handle review

I love .22’s and I love the Smith & Wesson M&P 15, and of course when you combine the two, you get a fantastic AR chambered in .22 long rifle called the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22…

Aside from being an absolute blast to shoot, this .22 is a fantastic rifle because it can help you train on the AR-15 platform and save money on ammunition while doing it…

And heres the thing, you can now upgrade the charging handle on your M&P 15-22, to better match the charging handle on your M&P 15 (or any other AR-15 that you might have) with the Trybe Defense Ambidextrous Charging Handle for the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22…

Even though this charging handle is built for a .22, it a very solid accessory. It’s built from 7075-T6 Aluminum, which makes it very strong, and it als features a mil-spec anodized coating…

Aside from that, it’s also smooth to operate, ambidextrous, and features long levers, so you can easily manipulate it on the M&P15-22!

5. Trybe Defense Ambidextrous Charging Handle for Sig Sauer MPX

trybe charging handle

The last charging handle on my list is the Trybe Defense Ambidextrous Charging Handle for the Sig Sauer MPX

If you’re not familiar with the MPX, it’s basically Sig’s version of an updated submachine gun…

It fires the 9mm cartridge, and many of the design cues are taken from the AR-15 when it comes to the ergonomics of the MPX…

For example, it features an AR-style charging handle, and just as the standard GI mil-spec charging handle can be improved, so can the stock charging handle on the MPX…

As usual, the Trybe MPX charging handle is made from 7075-T6 aluminum, which makes it strong and reliable…

But aside from that, it also features that same hard anodized coating, ambidextrous controls, long levers, and smooth action, that you get with all the other charging handles the come from Trybe Defense…

An just like the rest of the products made by Trybe, it’s an affordable accessory to add onto your gun.

Trybe Defense Chassis [Is It Right For You…?]

/ by
trybe defense chassis

Let’s face it…

A chassis system can really bring your bolt gun to the next level…

It’s just more sturdy that most rifle stocks, which translates in to you getting better accuracy out of your rifle…

And because chassis systems are typically made from aluminum, they’re better at facing the elements as well…

Now, some chassis systems can get incredibly expensive, but one of the best that I’ve found that still remains affordable is the Trybe Defense Chassis

Now it’s proper name is actually, the Trybe Defense R.O.C.S (Rapid Offense Chassis System), and there are several reasons why I’m a big fan of it…

Below, I’ll outline exactly what you get with this chassis system, and by the end of this post, you should have a good understanding of whether or not it’s going to work well for you…

Let’s get into it…

Trybe Defense Chassis – A Quick Summary…

The Trybe Defense Chassis is an affordable chassis system that is compatible with several short action (and 1 mini action) bolt action rifles. It includes a sturdy aluminum chassis, an adjustable butt stock, an adjustable cheek riser, and an ergonomic grip. Installation of the chassis is very easy, and it can be had in 4 color options…

ImageChassis System

Below, I’ll give you more detail about the Trybe Defense ROCS Chassis system.

Materials & Design Of The Trybe Defense R.O.C.S. (Rapid Offense Chassis System)…

Materials…

The Trybe Defese ROCS Chassis is built to be sturdy and durable, and it uses very high quality materials…

For starters, the Chassis is made from 6061-T6 Aluminum. This gives you a very stable platform to make accurate shots from, and at the same time, it keeps the whole system relatively lightweight…

trybe defense r.o.c.s. chassis

On top of that, it’s also Type III Hard Anodized, so it can handle tough weather and the elements, and the forward end of the Chassis includes M-LOK slots on the bottom and on the sides which will allow you to easily mount accessories light a bipod…

Additionally, the pistol grip and adjustable stock system that you get included with the ROCS are constructed from high strength polymer.

Design…

The overall design of the Trybe Defense R.O.C.S. includes a lot of useful features…

Like I mentioned earlier, the front end of the chassis includes M-LOK slots in the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions…

This allows you to easily mount a bipod on the end of the system, but there are a number of other accessories you could add on as well…

The front end also provides you with room for a free floated barrel…

This is incredibly important when it comes to barrel harmonics and making those super accurate shots…

Aside from that, the polymer pistol grip that you get included with the ROCS is designed to give you a very natural grip angle when shooting…

It’s not severely swept back at an awkward angle the way some AR-15 grips are, and if for some reason it doesn’t fit you and your particular shooting preferences, you can swap it out for any true AR-15 grip that works for you…

I also really like the design of the stock system that you get with the ROCS…

You can adjust the length of pull in the range of 13 inches to 14.5 inches using the included spacer system…

trybe defense r.o.c.s. magazine

And you can also adjust the cheek riser to get the perfect cheek weld when you’re aiming to make those accurate hits…

On top of all that, the ROCS Chassis system will accept a maximum barrel diameter of 1.25 inches, and it accepts AICS pattern magazines (except for the Howa 1500 mini version), giving you all the rounds capacity that you’ll need.

Compatibility Of The Trybe Defense ROCS Chassis…

The Trybe Defense ROCS Chassis is compatible with a number of fantastic, accurate shooting rifles. These rifles include…

  • Remington Model 700 Short Action
  • Ruger American Rifle Short Action
  • Savage Model 10 Short Action
  • Howa 1500 Short Action
  • Howa 1500 Mini Action

On top of that, the Chassis system comes in 4 colors for each of these firearms:

  • Black
  • FDE
  • OD Green
  • Gray

Installation…

Installation of the Trybe Defense ROCS is very simple and easy. All you have to do is remove the original stock from your rifle…

After that, put your action and barrel into the chassis system. From there, all you need to do is tighten down two screws, and Voilà, you have a very stable chassis rifle with a free floated barrel

trybe defense chassis install

Now one tip that may help you when tightening the screws is to use a little bit of non permanent threadlocker like Blue loctite…

This will help keep you screws in place even with all the vibrations that come from firing your rifle, and it should keep everything tight and stable which will help you maintain a high level of accuracy.

Included Parts…

When you pick up a Trybe Defense ROCS Chassis, there are several items that you’ll get in the box…

First of all, you get the 6061-T6 Aluminum Chassis, and again, it’ll come in which ever color you chose to go with your rifle…

You’ll also get the grip and adjustable stock…

Finally, you’ll get the action screws for mounting your bolt gun, and if you have a Savage Model 10, there’s an included offset washer as well.

PROs and CONs of the Rapid Offense Chassis System…

Pros…

  • It’s lightweight
  • It’s well built and sturdy
  • It’s available for several bolt action rifles
  • The length of pull is adjustable
  • The cheek riser is adjustable
  • The grip is ergonomic (and replaceable if it doesn’t fit you)
  • Includes M-LOK slots for easily attaching accessories
  • Comes in 4 cool color options
  • Installation is easy
  • It’s affordable

Cons…

  • Only available for 5 rifle types
  • Cheek riser only adjusts to 3 different positions

Trybe Defense Chassis Review – Final Thoughts…

In the end, I think the Trybe Defense ROCS is a fantastic chassis system, and I highly recommend it for several reasons…

It’s built from very sturdy aluminum, which will help you get more accuracy out of your rifle…

It’s lightweight, so you can acutally carry your rifle around for hunting or just recreational shooting…

It includes an adjustable butt stock and cheek riser, so you can fit it perfectly to your body size…

It’s easy to get installed onto your gun, and last, it’s affordable, which is seldom the case for a quality chassis system…

In my opinion, if you want to upgrade your rifle with a chassis system, it’s currently the best bang for your buck that’s available on the market.

Trybe Optics Enhancer [Is It The Right Scope Magnifier For You?]

/ by
trybe optics enhancer

I love Low Power Variable Optics (LPVOs)…

I know my blog is called ‘Red Dot’ Shooters, but I do shoot with a variety of different scopes too…

And here’s the thing, sometimes it’s nice to just have a little (or a big!) boost in terms of magnification…

Now, we all know that there are a ton of magnifiers out there which give you that magnification boost when it comes to red dots…

But the cool thing is that that there are also magnifiers that you can use to boost up a scope’s magnification as well…

One of the best ones I’ve found is the Trybe Optics Enhancer, and in this review, I’m going to tell you everything you need to know about it…

In the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of what you get with this Trybe Optics magnification doubler and you should have all the information you need to determine if it’s going to work for you or not…

Let’s get started!

Trybe Optics Enhancer – Is It The Right Scope Magnification Doubler For You…?

The Trybe Optics Enhancer is a great scope enhancer for many reasons. It doubles your scope’s magnification, and at the same time, it keeps your scope’s glass clear. It’s also a durable accessory and easy to install…

ImageEnhancer
trybe optics enhancerTrybe Optics Enhancer – Learn More And Get Best Pricing Here

Below I’ll explain with more detail why I think the Trybe Enhancer is a fantastic scope magnifier

What Is A Scope Enhancer?

Let’s get this out of the way before we jump into the details of the Trybe Optics Enhancer…

A scope enhancer does exactly what the name says, it enhances the performance of the scope by giving it more magnification…

Now, the Trybe Optics Enhancer is a magnification doubler…

So whatever magnification your scope currently has, you’ll be able to get double that amount with the Trybe Enhancer (even if your scope has a range of magnification levels)…

For example, if your scope is a 1-6x LPVO, then with the Enhancer your scope will be transformed into a 2-12x scope, which is pretty cool!

trybe optics enhancer - magnification doubler

If your optic is a 3-9x scope, then with the Enhancer your scope will be boosted to a 6-18x scope!

Obviously, having that boost in magnification will allow you to shoot more accurately and at further distances…

And that’s the main benefit that you’ll get from going with a scope enhancer.

Trybe Optics Enhancer – Optics Quality…

As I mentioned earlier, the Trybe Defense Optics Enhancer will double the amount of magnification that you’re able to get from your scope…

But the problem with some scope enhancers is that they warp your glass and give you an unclear (or dark) sight picture when you add them to your optic…

The good news is that the Trybe Scope Enhancer doesn’t do that. With it, you still get a crisp and clear image when looking through your scope…

So you’ll be able to see your target clearly and put rounds on target accurately…

trybe optics 6-24x50mm review

The reason Trybe is able to give you a clear sight picture is because the glass on the Enhancer has a proprietary Diamond bright coating, which enhances the brightness and reduces glare when looking through your optic…

It also has a minor effect on the light transmission of your scope, and it won’t narrow your scope’s field of view much either…

On top of all that, it’s also a scratch resistant coating which will help protect the glass on the Enhancer no matter where you plan on taking it.

Trybe Optics Enhancer – Specs…

Like I mentioned earlier, the Trybe Enhancer is built to be durable. The body of the Enhancer is made from high quality aluminum…

On top of that, it’s also IP67 Waterproof so it can handle rainy or wet conditions without having any issues…

It’s also shockproof to handle the recoil from your rifle, and fog proof as well.

Size And Weight…

Another cool thing about the Enhancer is that it doesn’t add a lot of size or weight to your optic…

It has a width and height that come in at only 1.7 inches, and the overall length is 3.3 inches…

who makes trybe optics

When it’s actually mounted onto your scope, it adds around 2.5 extra inches to the overall optic…

Aside from all that, the weight of the Enhancer is only 8.2 ounces. So it won’t add a bunch of unnecessary bulk and weight to your rifle…

Last, the objective lens diameter is 40mm, which helps give you good light transmission when looking through your scope.

Compatibility And Installation…

There are 3 main variations of the Trybe Optics Scope Enhancer which fit different size scope…

The first model comes with an adapter that allows you to mount the Enhancer to a scope with a 1 inch tube or a 30mm tube…

The second model comes with an adapter that allows you to mount the Enhancer to a scope with a 34mm tube…

The last model comes with two adapters, and that will give you the ability to mount the Enhancer to a scope with a 1 inch tube, a 30mm tube, or a 34mm tube.

Installation…

Installation of the Enhancer is also pretty easy, and it’s really cool that you can attach it to your scope without having to permanently modify your optic…

You start by sliding the mount portion of the Enhancer onto the end of your scope tube and just tightening it down with screws…

rifle scope enhancer

After that, you simply screw on the optic portion of the Enhancer…

You will want to adjust the windage and elevation screws on that portion of your magnifier to ensure that it lines up with your scope (and that your zero stays the same)…

And then, to completely remove the Enhancer, just remove all the parts in the reverse order, and your scope will be just as it was beforehand (again, with no permanent modifications, which is pretty cool).

Applications And Versatility…

The Enhancer is perfect when you want a boost in magnification, but there may be times when you want to go back to your scope’s original magnification levels…

The cool thing is that your can easily remove the optic portion of the enhancer by simply unscrewing it…

And you can use your scope’s true magnification levels without having to go through the hassle of removing the Enhancer’s mount.

This adds a level of versatility to the Trybe Optics Enhancer that I really like because it makes it really quick and easy to add double the magnification level when you want it…

And then super easy and quick to go back to your scope’s lower magnification levels when it’s advantageous.

Can It Be Used With Your Scope’s Bullet Drop Compensator…?

The answer is yes, but your scope’s BDC will change with the Enhancer mounted on it…

In fact, the ranging reticles will actually be halved because you’re adding double the magnification to your scope…

So what you’re going to want to do is shoot your rifle with the enhancer on it, and verify the BDC at different ranges.

PROs And CONs…

PROs of the Trybe Optics Scope Enhancer…

  • Double Magnification
  • Clear Glass
  • Durable Aluminum
  • Waterproof
  • Shockproof
  • Fogproof
  • Compact Size and Weight
  • Easy Install
  • Easy to Remove or Attach (Once Installed)
  • No Permanent Modification to Your Scope

Cons…

  • If you scope has a Bullet Drop Compensator (BDC), it will be changed because of the double magnification you’re adding

In the end, I highly recommend the Trybe Optics Scope Enhancer if you’re looking to get a significant boost in your scope’s magnification level…

Best PSA Dagger Upgrades [Top 9 List]

/ by
psa dagger upgrades

I love affordable guns…

But even if they’re reliable and accurate, you can sometime run into a problem…

And that problem is that they can be very simple and hard to upgrade…

Lucky, that’s not the case with the PSA Dagger…

It is a reliable and accurate little gun, but because it’s based on a Gen 3 Glock platform (and because it’s very popular)…

There are a number of PSA Dagger upgrades that you take advantage of…

And in this post, I’m going to share with you some of the upgrades I’ve done to my personal Dagger, and share with you some of the potential upgrades you can do as well…

Let’s get straight into it!

Note: I don’t cover holsters in this post. If you’d like to see My Top 7 PSA Dagger Holsters Go Here!

PSA Dagger Upgrades – What’s Right For Your Gun…?

As I said before, there are a lot of ways that you can upgrade your PSA Dagger…

Some of the upgrades can come straight from Palmetto State Armory, and some are just standard Glock or PSA Dagger aftermarket parts…

Now, it should also be said that there are a number of different variations of the Dagger that PSA sells…

psa dagger aftermarket parts

Some of the models are pretty plain-Jane, but others actually have upgrades included on them…

So just keep in mind as we’re going through that you might already have some upgraded Dagger parts, depending on which version of the gun you purchased…

PSA Dagger Slide

One area that you should think about upgrading on your Dagger is actually the whole slide…

And this may or may not be an important upgrade for you depending on which version of the PSA Dagger you already have…

For example, if you have a slide without an optic cut, the first thing I would do is swap it out for one that does (my blog is called red dot shooters after all haha)…

PSA dagger compact mods

Iron sights are OK to shoot with, but I love red dot sights on handguns because (with a little bit of practice) they just allow you to shoot faster and more accurately…

Now at the time that I’m writing this, PSA currently offers 8 different versions of the Dagger slide, and any one of them will fit on your dagger frame regardless of whether you have the compact frame or the full size frame…

Out of the 8, my two favorite options are the classic Extreme Carry Cut and the Compact X, but I’ll list all the options on this post a little further below…

I love the Extreme Carry Cut because it has all the things that Gucci Glocks typically have such as front slide serrations, relief cuts, and cool chamfering…

It’s also a compact slide so it will sit flush with the end of your frame, and be a little bit easier to conceal carry…

I also love the Compact X slide which is a little newer. This slide also has front slide serrations and cool relief cuts, but even though it will fit on a compact frame, it gives you a slide length similar to the Glock 17

This larger slide is more of a ‘Duty’ size, and the extra mass in the slide makes it a really smooth shooter…

You can check out all of the PSA Dagger slide options below (Just remember to look at versions that give you an optic cut):

Other Slide Options…

Now because the PSA Dagger is a Gen 3 Glock Clone, it’s important to remember that you can actually upgrade your gun with any Gen 3 Glock slide…

There are a ton of options out there, but one of my favorites is the RMR Cut Slide for a Glock 19 (Gen 3) by Brownells…

psa dagger slide on glock 19

I like it because it’s just a perfect match with the PSA Dagger Frame, and it will give you the ability to mount a red dot sight at an affordable price point similar to PSA’s optic cut Dagger slides.

PSA Dagger Optic

Now, that’s I’ve droned on about getting an optic cut slide, the next upgrade you should consider for your Dagger is a quality optic…

Now, PSA currently offers slides that are cut for an RMR footprint and slides that are cut for a Docter footprint…

Out of the two, my favorite is the RMR footprint because it gives you a lot more options when picking your optic…

But truth be told, there are some high quality Docter footprint optics available as well…

My Personal PSA Dagger Optic…

Right now, you can see that I’m running the Swampfox Kraken optic on my personal Dagger, and I love it!

psa dagger optics

The Kraken is an enclosed emitter red dot (which is why it looks so boxy), but that makes it an extremely durable handgun sight…

It also eliminates any chance of debris blocking the red dot’s emitter, which is a possibility with traditional open emitter pistol optics…

I think the Kraken is a great fit with the PSA Dagger because it comes with an RMR adapter plate, so it’s super easy to get it mounted onto a Dagger slide with an RMR optic cut…

But it also gives you a clear sight window and a nice, crisp 3 MOA dot to help you make fast and accurate shots…

I’m very happy with the performance of the Swampfox Kraken on my Dagger, and right now, I have no plans to change it out for something else…

psa dagger swampfox

Holosun 507C

psa dagger holosun 507c

Another amazing optic that will fit the RMR cut Dagger slide is the Holosun 507C…

I currently have one of these bad boys on my Glock 45, and I would have no problem mounting it on a PSA Dagger…

I like the 507C because it’s affordable, super durable, and packed with useful features like ultra long battery life, a Solar panel to back up your battery, and Shake Awake technology to extend your battery life even further…

It also gives you 3 reticle options to choose from including a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or the Holosun Circle Dot Reticle which is a combination of the two…

And let me tell you, the Circle Dot Reticle is awesome because it makes finding and tracking your dot super quick and easy…

But at the same time, you still have the small 2 MOA dot in the center when you need to make shots that require a high level of accuracy…

All in all, you can’t go wrong by going with the Holosun 507C.

Crimson Trace RAD Pro…

psa dagger crimson trace

Another fantastic red dot option that you should consider if your Dagger slide has a Docter cut is the Crimson Trace RAD Pro…

The RAD Pro gives you a large sight window, long battery life, Shake-to-wake technology which extends your battery life even more…

And it comes with a crisp 3 MOA dot. I’ve recently been testing one out, and it has now become my go-to Docter footprint optic.

There are other sights I could mention here, like the Holosun EPS, the Trijicon RMR, the Vortex Venom, and others, but I could go on all day in this section…

So it’s best if we stop here and move on to the next upgrade…

PSA Dagger Sights

The stock PSA dagger sights are OK (they are better than plastic stock Glock sights), but they can be upgraded…

And I should mention here that if you are getting an optic cut slide from PSA, then you already get upgraded sights which are raised to co-witness with your optic…

psa dagger barrel upgrade

But if you’re going to run an iron sight gun, I recommend you go with a fiber optic front sight because it helps you find and track your front sight better (which allows you to shoot faster)…

Luckily, PSA sells an affordable set of sights for the Dagger that come with a red fiber optic front sight…

psa dagger sight upgrade

But keep in mind that most sights that are designed for a Glock will fit in the Dagger, and there are tons and tons of options out there are on the market.

PSA Dagger Barrel

Another area that you can upgrade on your Dagger is the Barrel. As usual, there are many Dagger models that already come with an upgraded barrel…

But if your Dagger just came with a standard barrel, PSA offers:

  • Fluted Barrels
  • Threaded Barrels
  • PVD Coated Barrels
  • Stainless Barrels
  • Spiral Fluted Barrels
  • Honey Comb Barrels
  • Copper Barrels
  • Chameleon (Oil Slick) Barrels

The different coatings and colors look cool, which is great if you’re going for a Gucci Glock aproach…

But the Fluted barrels will save you a little bit of weight, and the threaded barrels will allow you to mount a suppressor or a compensator…

psa dagger barrel upgrade

What’s the best PSA Dagger Compensator?

Like I said, if you have a Dagger with a threaded barrel you can put on a screw-on compensator, which will dampen the recoil significantly when you’re shooting…

Some of the best options on the market are currently: the Agency Arms Single Port Barrel Comp, the Strike Industries Micro Threaded Comp QUAD, and the Strike Industries Micro Threaded Comp CIRCLE…

All offer different benefits in terms of how effective they are verses how compact they are, and you can check them out if you’re interested by looking at the table below…

PSA Dagger Trigger Upgrades

As I said earlier, the PSA Dagger is a Gen 3 Glock clone, and it will take many of the aftermarket parts made for Generation 3 Glocks including trigger upgrades…

Why would you want to upgrade the PSA Dagger trigger?

I think the PSA Dagger trigger is pretty good right out of the box, but that being said, there is room for improvement…

For example, many people don’t like the PSA Dagger trigger shoe because it articulates or bends in the middle to incorporate the trigger safety…

psa dagger trigger shoe

You might be in this group, and you might prefer a bladed trigger safety that is more similar to the trigger shoe on an actual Glock…

If that’s the case there are many options for you, and you can check out my article on PSA Dagger Trigger Upgrades Here

Timney Alpha Glock Competition Trigger…

timney alpha glock trigger reviewer

Without a doubt the most popular trigger upgrade is to put a timney trigger in your PSA Dagger…

These triggers give you a crisp, 3 pound trigger pull, which will definitely help you shoot faster and more accurately…

The Timney Alpha Glock trigger also gives you an aluminum, straight trigger shoe with a wide safety blade, which makes it very comfortable to use…

And it can be installed into your PSA Dagger without the need to actually take it to a gunsmith, which is nice…

Apex Trigger For PSA Dagger…

apex glock trigger review

Another great option is an Apex trigger for your PSA Dagger, specifically the Apex Tactical Specialties Glock Action Enhancement Trigger…

This trigger is awesome, first of all, because you get the Apex trigger shoe which has a trigger blade safety and is extremely comfortable to use…

Aside from that, this trigger gives you a shorter take up and a smoother pull than the stock PSA Dagger trigger…

And it has a much more crisp break that the Dagger trigger as well…

It’s also drop in part, so no need for a gunsmith, and overall it’s another fantastic trigger upgrade that you should consider for your Dagger…

PSA Dagger Magazine

The PSA Dagger comes with a Magpul Glock magazine. These magazines are good, and I’ve never had any problems with the ones I own…

But they are made from polymer, and they’re simply not as rugged as a stock Glock magazine…

psa dagger magazine compatibility

OEM Glock magazines have been proven for reliability and durability over many, many years now…

And they have functioned perfectly in my PSA Dagger…

So if you intend to use your Dagger as a defensive pistol in anyway, I recommend you upgrade the magazines you’re using to stock Glock magazines (I like to have 5 per gun)…

And reserve the Magpul magazine that the pistol comes with for training or recreational use on the range.

psa dagger magazine compatibility

PSA Dagger Weapon Light

I always like to put weapon lights on my handguns if they have a rail to accommodate them (which the PSA Dagger does), and there are 2 reasons why…

The first reason is obvious. A weapon light gives you the ability to use your Dagger with both hands in low-light situations…

This is actually a super important reason to have a weapon light on your gun…

…because often times defensive shootings do occur at night, and you absolutely MUST identify your target before making a shot.

The second reason is because a weapon light adds weight to the front end of you handgun and it actually dampens recoil and makes the gun easier to shoot…

Having said that, here are a couple of weapon light options that are a great fit for the PSA Dagger…

Streamlight TLR-1 HL…

psa dagger streamlight

The Streamlight TLR-1 HL is my go-to weapon light for many reasons…

First of all, it’s a very powerful and bright weapon light which gives you 1,000 lumens and a wide candela…

On top of that, it’s also easy to actuate the light from either side with the toggles…

And it’s also easy to mount on your gun with the screw on system (if you have a rail on your frame like the one on the PSA Dagger)…

In addition to that, the TLR-1 HL is a very ruggedly built weapon light, and it also has wide holster compatibility which is a pretty big deal for me…

Creative XP Glass Eagle…

If you’re wondering what weapon light I have on my PSA Dagger in the pictures…

psa dagger weapon light

…it’s actually a budget light that I have been testing called the Creative XP Glass Eagle, and so far I’ve been very impressed.

The Glass Eagle is modeled after the Surefire X300, and I really like that because it means there are a ton of holster options that are compatible with this light…

But aside from that, the Glass Eagle gives you 1,000 lumens (which is perfect for identifying targets at night)…

And it’s also built pretty ruggedly so it can handle the recoil from being mounted on your gun…

So far, I think it’s a fantastic option if you want a budget light with good build quality, 1,000 lumens, and great holster compatibility to go on your PSA Dagger…

psa dagger surefire x300

PSA Dagger Magwell

If you want to upgrade your Dagger with a magwell, there are a few options that are currently available….

psa dagger magwell

First of all, it’s important to keep in mind that you won’t be able to use a Gen 3 Glock magwell because the grip on a Glock is significantly different from a PSA Dagger…

But here are a couple of options that are currently available…

GG Magwells Polymer Magwell…

These magwells are polymer, affordable, and easy to install. Just be sure to get the model that is compatible with the Dagger frame that you have because they are not cross compatible…

>> GG Magwells PSA Dagger Compact Magwell

>> GG Magwells PSA Dagger Fullsize S Magwell

SLR Rifleworks Aluminum PSA Dagger Magwell…

If you’re looking for an aluminum magwell for your PSA Dagger, you should check out the options from SLR Rifleworks…

Again, be sure to select the one that is compatible with the Dagger frame that you have…

Best PSA Dagger Trigger Upgrade [Top 6 List]

/ by
psa dagger trigger upgrade

I love my PSA Dagger…

We all know the Dagger is affordable, but it’s also reliable, accurate, and very fun to shoot…

And truth be told, I like the standard trigger that comes with the Dagger…

But even though I like it, there is definitely room for improvement…

And that begs the question… What is the best PSA Dagger trigger upgrade?

That’s a great question, and in this post I’m going to answer it for you by giving you my Top 6 best trigger upgrades for the PSA Dagger

In the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of what trigger upgrades you can do to your Dagger, and you should have all the information you need to determine which is going to be right for you…

Let’s get to it!

Best PSA Dagger Trigger Upgrade – Top 6 List…

The best PSA Dagger trigger upgrade is the Timney Trigger Alpha Glock Competition Trigger. It’s the best because it gives you a crisp 3 pound trigger pull with a flat faced trigger shoe that is constructed from Aluminum. It’s also a very reliable trigger, and the installation can be completed without the help of an actual gunsmith…

Below, I’ll give you more detail explaining why the Timney Alpha Trigger is the best, and I’ll also share with you 5 other fantastic trigger upgrades that you can do to your PSA Dagger…

IMPORTANT NOTE: The PSA Dagger is a Generation 3 Glock clone. So when upgrading, always choose parts that are compatible with Gen 3 Glocks!

1. Timney Triggers Alpha Glock Competition Trigger (Gen 3, 4)

timney trigger psa dagger

Number 1 on my list of best PSA Dagger Trigger Upgrades is the Timney Trigger Alpha Glock Competition Trigger, and there are many reasons why…

First of all, this trigger (like all triggers on my list) is built for Gen 3 Glocks, which is what the PSA Dagger is compatible with, and this trigger is simply amazing (it’s the best Glock trigger on the market)…

With the Timney Alpha Trigger, you get a super crisp 3 pound trigger pull which is a lot better than the stock Dagger trigger. That light 3 pound trigger is huge when you want to make fast and accurate shots because it just makes the whole trigger press a heck of a lot easier…

Aside from that, the Alpha trigger’s trigger shoe is made from aluminum, which is stiffer than the Dagger’s stock trigger which is polymer, and that aluminum shoe really changes the whole feeling of the trigger because it doesn’t flex at all when you pull it…

Another thing I really like about the Alpha trigger is that it will utilize the stock springs that come in your Dagger, and this is actually a very important thing to consider because I’ve personally seen reliability problems when changing to lighter springs in many of my Glocks (I always run stock springs now)…

And because this trigger keeps your stock springs in the Dagger, it’s a very reliable trigger. Last, installation of the Timney trigger is fairly straight forward and doesn’t require a gunsmith. So you can break down your Dagger at home, and get this bad boy installed in your gun without much of a hassle…

Just remember to get the version that is made for Generation 3 and Generation 4 Glocks because that model will be compatible with your PSA Dagger

So all in all, I love the Timney Alpha Trigger because the crisp 3 pound trigger pull helps you shoot fast and accurate, and because it doesn’t sacrifice anything in the way of reliability either.

2. Overwatch Precision TAC (9mm)

psa dagger compatible trigger

Number 2 on my list is the Overwatch Precision TAC trigger, and it’s another option that will make a great pair with the PSA Dagger…

To begin, like the Timney Alpha Trigger, the Overwatch Precision TAC gives you a straight trigger shoe that is made from 7075-T6 Aluminum, and like I mentioned earlier, the aluminum trigger shoe is a huge upgrade over the Dagger’s stock polymer trigger, just because it makes the trigger more rigid which makes it more crisp…

Aside from that, the Overwatch Precision TAC also has a very broad, flat face, and this type of geometry generally helps you press the trigger back straight to the rear (which is critical for helping you shooting accurately)…

The pre-travel on the Overwatch Precision TAC is also greatly reduced over a stock Glock or PSA Dagger trigger, and the weight is a very clean 5 to 5.5 pounds…

On top of all that, the TAC is also a very reliable trigger, and it can easily be installed into your Dagger without the help of a gunsmith, so it’s hassle free and headache free…

All in all, the Overwatch Precision TAC is another fantastic PSA Dagger trigger upgrade, because it gives you a phenomenal trigger pull and maintains the reliability of your gun.

3. Apex Tactical Specialties Glock Action Enhancement Trigger (Gen 3 Trigger Bar)

apex trigger for psa dagger

Number 3 on my list of trigger upgrades for the PSA Dagger is the Apex Tactical Specialties Glock Action Enhancement Trigger, and there are many reasons why it’s another solid option…

First of all, the Apex Tactical trigger is a direct drop in replacement for the stock Dagger trigger. It is made of polymer, like the Dagger’s stock trigger, but the broad face and overall geometry make it easier to press straight back to the rear (and thus, it’s easier to shoot fast and accurately with it)…

Now, the overall weight of the Apex Trigger is about the same as the stock Dagger trigger, but it doesn’t feel that way for a few reasons. First, the overall travel is much shorter on the Apex trigger, which gives you more control when firing…

Second, the uptake is super smooth and the reset is firm which helps you make quick follow up shots. And third, the trigger break is much more crisp than the Dagger’s stock trigger break, which again just makes shooting accurately easier…

Also, like I mentioned before, this is a direct drop in trigger upgrade so it’s incredible easy to install on your own, and if you really want to take this trigger’s performance to another level, you can pair it with the Apex Ultimate Safety Plunger for an even smoother trigger pull…

So all in all, the Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger is another amazing option, if you want to get top notch performance out of the trigger in your Dagger.

4. Overwatch Precision Polymer DAT Drop-In Trigger Kit (Gen 3)

psa dagger trigger install

Number 4 on the list is another incredible trigger upgrade for the PSA Dagger, and it’s the Overwatch Precision Polymer DAT Drop-In Trigger Kit…

Now, this is the second Overwatch Precision Trigger that I’ve included on the list, and for good reason. With this trigger kit you get a TON of performance…

For example, the trigger shoe has fantastic geometry which makes it easier to pull your trigger straight back to the rear (again, super important to help you shoot accurately).

The trigger bar that you get included with the kit gives you an incredibly smooth pull because it’s either highly polished or NP3 coated (depending on what you choose), and the OEM trigger housing and ejector help ensure that you’re going to keep your Dagger reliable…

On top of all that, you also get an NP3 coated minus connector from Overwatch Precision, which makes your trigger pull lighter, crisper and smoother…

And you actually get an extra power trigger spring to make sure that your reset is strong and positive for fast follow up shots…

Last, as it says in the name, the Polymer DAT trigger is made from polymer (which helps keep this whole high-performance kit affordable), and the whole system is completely drop in and very easy to install on your own…

Plain and simple, this is an amazing way to easily get an incredible trigger into your Dagger!

5. Agency Arms Syndicate Glock Drop-In Trigger (Gen 3, 4)

psa dagger trigger shoe

Number 5 on my list is the Agency Arms Syndicate Glock Drop-In Trigger, and it’s another amazing option that will fit into your PSA Dagger…

To start off with, the Agency Arms trigger is polymer much like the stock PSA Dagger trigger, but other than that one feature, the two triggers are completely different…

For example, the Agency Arms trigger has a flat face (much like many of the other triggers on my list), and that will help you make a trigger press that is straight to the rear which will make you more accurate when you’re shooting…

In addition to that, the Agency Arms trigger also has toe feature which helps you index your trigger finger for more consistency when you’re firing…

The whole unit gives you a smooth, crisp trigger pull which is much better than the standard Dagger trigger, and it’s also completely drop-in, so it’ll be very easy for you to install…

All in all, that Agency Arms Drop in trigger is another fantastic option if you’re looking to upgrade the trigger on your Dagger.

Click The Button Below To Learn More About The Agency Arms Syndicate Glock Drop-In Trigger:

6. ZEV Technologies Pro Connector

psa dagger aftermarket parts

The final upgrade on my list is a simple connector. I’ve tried a lot of aftermarket Glock connectors over the years, and by far, my favorite is the Zev Technologies Pro Connector…

The reason why I like it so much is because it gives you a more crisp trigger pull with shorter travel than the standard trigger pull that you get in a Glock or a PSA Dagger…

It also gives you a slightly lighter trigger pull, and maintains a strong, positive reset so you can make fast follow shots when you need to…

I’ve also found it to be a very reliable connector, and it’s very simple to install…

So if you’re looking for a very simple way, to get a little bit more out of your trigger, I highly recommend the Zev Pro Connector for your PSA Dagger (and your Glocks if you have any).

Best Doctor Cut Optics [It’s Actually ‘Docter’] – TOP 6 List…

/ by
doctor cut optics

The RMR cut definitely gets the most attention… But it’s not the only pistol optic cut out there…

Another fairly common optic footprint is called the Docter/Noblex footprint…

Now, a lot of people mistakenly spell it ‘doctor’ because that’s the sound and spelling that we’re used to…

But spelling aside, there’s a big question that needs to be answered… What are the best Doctor cut optics— Oops, I mean Docter cut optics…?

That’s a great question, and in this article, I’m going to answer that question for you by giving you my list of the Top 6 best Docter cut optics…

In the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of the options that are currently available, and you should have all the information you need to determine which option is going to work best for you…

Let’s get started!

Best Doctor Cut Optics (It’s Actually ‘Docter’) – TOP 6 List…

The best docter cut optic is Crimson Trace RAD Pro. It’s the best because it has an extremely rugged sight housing, ultra long battery life, and a very useful 3 MOA dot reticle…

It also features other useful features like automatic brightness adjustments based on the ambient lighting that you’re shooting in, and Shake-To-Wake technology…

But all that being said, I actually put another optic as number one on my list (the CT RAD Pro is still solidly at number 2). So to find out why, I hope you’ll read on…

1. Steiner MPS Micro Pistol Sight

doctor cut compatibility

The first optic on my list is the Steiner MPS which stands for ‘Micro Pistol Sight’, and it’s not technically a docter cut optic, but hear me out on my reasoning for putting it number one on this list…

The Steiner MPS is an enclosed emitter red dot sight, and to me, that’s awesome because it makes the optic much more reliable and durable than the traditional open emitter sights that you typically see (those sights can be very durable too)…

I love that with a closed emitter red dot, nothing can get into your sight and block the emitter from working, and the MPS does a great job of this and has mil-spec ruggedness and waterproofness…

Aside from that, the MPS has a large sight window, which gives you a great field of view when looking through the optic, and the lens is very crisp and clear…

It also gives you 13,000 hours of battery life (which is over a year), 8 brightness levels (including 2 night vision compatible settings), and it can auto shut off after 13 hours, which is great because it will help save you battery life…

The reticle that you get on the MPS is a 3.3 MOA red dot, which is a great size reticle because it’s very fast and easy for your eye to pick up, but at the same time, it’s small enough that you can aim with a great deal of precision at small targets or targets at further distances…

Last, as I mentioned before, it doesn’t feature a doctor footprint. It actually has the ACRO footprint, which is a different concept from typical footprints because of it’s enclosed emitter design…

That being said, it does come with a docter adapter plate included in the box. So you’ll be able to get it mounted very quickly and easily if you have a gun set up for the docter footprint optic…

So all in all, I love the Steiner MPS because it’s super durable and reliable, it has solid battery life, it has a great reticle size, it gives you a wide field of view, and it comes with a docter cut adapter plate so you can easily get it mounted to your gun!

Click The Button Below To Learn More About The Steiner MPS:

2. Crimson Trace RAD PRO

doctor cut vs rmr cut

Number 2 on my list is the Crimson Trace RAD Pro. RAD actually stands for “Rapid Aiming Dot”, and this is definitely a sight that will help you shoot fast and accurately…

Now unlike the Steiner MPS, the RAD Pro actually features a docter footprint, but aside from that, it has a ton of great features that really make it stand out…

First of all, it’s a pretty rugged little optic. It is a traditional open emitter design, but the sight housing is made from 7075 Aerospace aluminum, and the angled design is there to make the optic extra stress resistant…

It does a great job at this too because I’ve personally dropped one (actually it fell off my gun because I didn’t mount it tight enough), but it held up without any issues after the drop…

On top of that, it’s also IPX7 waterproof, and it can handle rainy, snowy, or wet conditions without any issues at all…

The sight window that you get with the RAD Pro is a good size, and gives you a wide field of view…

And it can be had with a 3 MOA or 5 MOA dot, with my preference being the 3 because I find it to be more precise and just as quick and easy for my eye to pick up…

The battery life that you get with the RAD Pro is around 20,000 hours which is over 2 years, and it also has a Shake-To-Wake sensor which means the sight will automatically turn off after a period of non-use and then automatically turn on as soon as it senses motion (such as you picking up your gun)…

Another thing I like about this is sight is that the battery is top mounted, which means you won’t have to go through the hassle of taking it off your gun just to change out your battery, and it also gives you 8 daylight brightness settings and 2 Night Vision compatible settings as well…

Also, because this is the Pro version of the RAD, it actually has an ambient light sensor which will automatically adjust the brightness of your dot to the ambient lighting conditions that you’re in…

This is a really cool and cutting edge feature, but you can also program the sight to it’s manual brightness settings if you don’t find it works well for you…

So all in all, the Crimson Trace RAD Pro is a strong and reliable little doctor cut optic, and it’s packed with useful features and comes in at a solid price point as well!

3. Burris FastFire IV

doctor cut holosun

Number 3 on my list is the Burris FastFire IV, and there are a number of reasons why this is a docter footprint optic that you should consider…

First of all, the Burris FastFire IV is a traditional open emitter optic, but it has a little twist to it. It features the docter footprint at the bottom, but it also includes a watertight weather shield which can be put on the top of it, and it essentially turns the sight into an enclosed emitter optic (similar to the Steiner MPS)…

This is an awesome feature in my opinion, because it adds an extra level of durability to the optic. On top of that, the FastFire IV has 4 reticle options programmed into the sight…

These 4 options include:

  • A 3 MOA dot
  • An 11 MOA dot
  • A 3 MOA dot with a circle around it
  • An 11 MOA dot with a circle around it

Out of these options, I really like the 3 MOA dot with a circle around it, which is sometimes referred to as a circle dot reticle…

I like it because it allows you to pick up and track your dot extremely quickly, but at the same time, you still have that precise 3 MOA dot in the center for making shots that require a high degree of accuracy…

The sight window that you get with the FastFire IV is also pretty large which gives you a wide field of view when shooting, and the reticle gets extremely bright as well…

The battery can be accessed from the top of the optic, so you won’t have to go through the hassle of removing the sight from your firearm just to change the battery, and the battery will last you for around 26,000 hours which is over 2 years…

It also has auto-brightness technology built into it, and it has automatic shut off after 8 hours, to help you preserve your battery life even longer…

So all in all, the Burris FastFire IV is a very cutting edge optic because of the modularity that it gives you. You can toggle through and try out the 4 reticle options before settling on the one that’s right for you, and you can turn it into an enclosed optic, if that’s the type of sight that suits your wants and needs best.

4. Burris FastFire II

doctor cut footprint

Number 4 on my list is actually another Burris and it’s called the FastFire II. It’s an older model than the FastFire 4, but it comes in at a more affordable price and still features that doctor footprint…

To begin, the FastFire II has a sight housing made from anodized aluminum, but it remains a very lightweight and compact optic…

The reticle on the FastFire II is a 4 MOA dot which is a pretty good compromise size between my favorites in the 2-3 MOA range and the larger dot preferences of other shooters…

On top of that, the dot does get very bright, and the optic features an on and off switch which is actually pretty convenient…

The battery life that you get with the FastFire II is said to last around 10,000 hours which is fairly long, but I do have to give this sight a knock because the battery is bottom mounted, which means that you will have to remove it from your gun to swap out the battery when the time comes…

That being said, it’s still a solid docter footprint sight option because it gives you a bright dot, decent battery life, and a good dot size on the reticle at 4 MOA.

5. Vortex Viper

vortex venom doctor cut

Number 5 on my list is the Vortex Viper. This sight has been around for a long time, and has a pretty solid track record…

It’s not the most robust design on this list, but it has a hard anodized finish, Vortex’s Armortek coating to protect its lens, and it’s waterproof and shockproof…

The reticle that you get with this sight is a 6 MOA dot, which is a good size. I personally prefer 2 MOA or 3 MOA when it comes to reticle size…

But I can shoot well with 6 MOA dots, and there are many people (who are better shooters than me) who consider 6 MOA to be the best dot size…

The battery life that you get with the Viper is 30,000 hours on the lower settings and 150 hours on the highest brightness setting. You’ll probably use it on a brightness setting somewhere in the middle of that because it does get very bright, so I think the battery life that you get with the Viper is pretty good…

One of the things I have to ding the Viper on is that it’s a bottom access battery. This means that you will have to remove it from your gun to change out the battery when the time comes, and then remount it afterwards…

It’s not the end of the world, that you have to remove the optic from your gun to change out the battery, but the truth is it’s a little less convenient than a top or side-loading battery…

All in all though, the Vortex Viper is a good red dot sight that features the docter footprint, and it’s been an extremely popular little optic for a long time.

6. Hex Dragonfly

psa dagger doctor cut red dot

Number 5 on my list is the Hex Dragonfly which is another great optic featuring the docter footprint, and there are several things to like about it…

First of all, it’s a fairly rugged sight. It has a sight housing made from 6061 T6 Aluminum, and it’s also IPX7 waterproof, so it’ll easily handle rainy and snowy conditions…

In addition to that, the reticle that you get with the Hex Dragonfly is a 3.5 MOA dot which is a great size because your eye can easily pick up the dot and track it and you can still make accurate shots with it, and the lens has a scratch resistant and anti-glare coating which works really well…

The Dragonfly also gives you 8 brightness settings, and the battery will last for around 3 years using the settings that will be bright enough for real world uses (rather than just the lowest brightness settings)…

Now, like the Vortex Viper and the Burris FastFire II, the Dragonfly is unfortunately a bottom loading battery optic, which means you will have to remove the optic from your gun to change out the battery…

But keep in mind, that takes a little more time and effort when you need to change out the battery, but at least you won’t have to do it very often witha whopping 3 years worth of battery life…

So all in all, the Hex Dragonfly is another fantastic docter footprint option because it gives you great battery life, a useful reticle size, and good durability as well.

Eotech G33 vs G43 [Which Magnifier Is Right For You…?]

/ by
eotech g33 vs g43

Eotech’s Holographic sights are awesome…

They’re durable, they have huge sight windows, and their reticle options are second-to-none when it comes to helping you shoot both fast and accurately…

But aside from their line of Holographic sights, Eotech also has a line of magnifiers to help you hit those targets that are smaller and out at extended ranges…

Now, two of their most popular magnifiers are the Eotech G33 and the Eotech G43…

But that leads to the question… Which one is right for you…?

Well, in this Eotech G33 Vs G43 article, we’re going to compare these two magnifiers and see what the similarities and differences are…

In the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of what you get with each magnifier, and you should have all the information you need to determine which is going to work best for you…

I’ll also tell you which of the two I actually prefer and why…

Let’s get started!

Eotech G33 vs G43 – What is the difference between G43 and G33?

The Eotech G33 and G43 are similar in many ways, but they do have a few key differences. For example, the G33 is a little bit longer and a little bit more lightweight than the G43. On top of that, the G33 has a slightly shorter eye relief than the G43 and it also has a slightly more narrow field of view…

Watch Video Below:

That being said, there are pros and cons to each of these Eotech magnifiers, and below I’ll discuss what you get with each model in greater detail.

EOTech G33 Magnifier

The Eotech G33 was and is Eotech’s first model in their line of magnifiers (with the G43 and then the G45 coming after it)…

But even though it is the first magnifier that Eotech produced, there are some people who actually prefer it over the newer G43…

We’ll unfold why as we dig into the details…

Durability And Water Resistance

Like all Eotech products, the G33 is built to be tough as nails and can handle a ton of abuse. It is a sealed, fog resistant optic, and it’s rated to be water resistant in a whopping 33 feet of water…

eotech g33 vs g45

It’s also able to work in temperatures that range from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, and no matter where you need to take your rifle on this planet, this magnifier will be ready to get the job done.

Physical Dimensions and Weight

The Eotech G33 features a length of 4.4 inches, a width of 2.2 inches, and a height of 3.3 inches…

Aside from that, it has a weight that comes in at 10.6 ounces. So it’s fairly lightweight. The physician dimensions and weight is one of the areas where the G33 has significant differences from the Eotech G43.

Magnification, Eye Relief & Field Of View

The magnification offered by the Eotech G33 is 3x. That means your target will appear 3 times larger at any given distance…

This might not seem like a lot of magnification, and it’s not compared to some scopes, but you’d be surprised just how helpful a little bit of extra magnification can be when you’re trying to identify targets at distance and zero in on them for accurate shooting…

eotech g43 vs g33

Aside from that, you get a generous 2.2 inches of eye relief with the G33, which allows you to place your head comfortably behind it and get a clear view when aiming…

And the field of view that you get is around 7.3 feet at 100 yards, which I think is pretty good because it allows you to see plenty of what’s going on around your target.

Mounting Options and Adaptability

The G33 comes with the Switch-to-Side Mounting System which is nice for several reasons. I like it because it allows you to go from 1x on your primary optic (something like the EXPS3)…

And then with a simple closing transition, the magnifier can be aligned directly behind your sight, and you’ll have 3x magnification…

It’s kind of the best of both worlds, and it’s a system that works really well when you have targets at close range and at extended distances…

I also really love that the included mount is Quick Detach. This means that you can mount it and unmount it on your gun extremely quickly…

And it just gives you the option of taking off the magnifier during the times when you really won’t need it, and then being able to put it back on in a very hassle free way…

Last, the G33 does include windage and elevation adjustments which will allow you to line it up perfectly right behind your primary optic.

What is the effective range of the G33 magnifier?

In my opinion, the G33 at 3x can help you shoot effectively at 300, 400, and maybe even 500 yards…

A lot of this depends on your individual marksmanship abilities, and other factors would include the size of the target and how much stability you’re able to achieve.

EOTECH G33 Magnifier Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Built to be very rugged
  • Good field of view
  • 3x magnification
  • More lightweight than Eotech G43

Cons

  • Longer than Eotech G43
  • Slightly smaller field of view than G43
  • Slightly shorter eye relief that G43 (But this is often offset by the extra length of the G33)

EOTech G43 Magnifier (What is the EOTECH G43?)

The Eotech G43 is Eotech’s second model in their line of magnifiers. It differs from the Eotech G33 in a few important ways…

Durability And Water Resistance

Much like the Eotech G33, the G43 is built to be a very tough optic. It’s also water resistant in up to 33 feet of water, and sealed to be fog resistant…

g43 vs g45

This means that it can definitely handle rainy or wet conditions, and just like the G33 it has an operating temperature of -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. So it can be used in the hot desert or in arctic winter conditions without any issues.

Physical Dimensions and Weight

The Eotech G43 has a length that measures in at 3.1 inches, a width of 2.3 inches, and a height of 3.3 inches…

Its height is exactly the same as the G33, but it is much shorter and slightly wider…

On top of that, the weight on the G43 comes in at 11.3 ounces which means it’s actually heavier than the G33 (even though it’s much shorter)…

So with the G43, you get a more compact overall package, but at the same time, it’s a slightly heavier magnifier than the G33, which I think is a bit strange.

Magnification, Eye Relief & Field Of View

Like the G33, the G43 is a 3x magnifier, but that’s where the similarities end in this category. For example, the G43 has an eye relief of 2.5 inches rather than the G33’s 2.2 inches…

That’s a little bit better eye relief, but it should also be noted that the G33’s rear lens sits further back than the G43’s…

So that kind of negates the G43’s slightly longer eye relief a little bit…

Aside from that the G43 does have a slightly larger field of view than the G33 at 7.5 feet at 100 yards versus 7.3 feet.

Mounting Options and Adaptability

Like the G33, the G43 comes with a swing out mount which allows you to go from 1x on your primary optic to 3x with the magnifier in an instant…

eotech g43 magnifier tan

The G43’s mount also features a Quick Detach system, and again, that’s a feature that I love because it allows you to take the magnifier on and off your gun very quickly and easily…

And last, just as with the G33, the G43 features windage and elevation adjustments which will allow you to line up the magnifier perfectly behind your primary sight…

…and the G43’s mount actually comes with a 7mm spacer which makes it a little bit more adjustable.

Pros and Cons of the EOTech G43 Magnifier

Pros

  • Built to be very rugged
  • More compact package than G33
  • Better Field Of View than G33
  • Slightly longer Eye Relief that G33 (But again, this is kind of negated by the G33’s extra length)
  • Mount Include 7mm Adjustable spacer

Cons

  • The shorter overall profile can be awkward when running backup iron sights (because of the eye relief and location of the mount
  • It’s heavier than the G33

Eotech G43 vs G33 – Final Thoughts…

In the end, I think that both the Eotech G33 and the Eotech G43 are great magnifiers. They’re both built like tanks, and they both give you extra 3x power with swing away mounts…

But out of the two, my favorite is… the Eotech G33…

The main reason I prefer the G33 is because it’s slightly more lightweight…

I’m always trying to shave ounces off of my guns because it just makes them handier, and it’s kind of shocking to me that Eotech made a smaller magnifier that actually turned out to be heavier…

That being said, the G43 isn’t that much heavier than the G33, and I think it’s still a great magnifier. So if you’re looking for a more compact package, then I think that it’s definitely a great option to go with…

The bottom line is that both of these magnifiers are extremely well built and high quality. So you really can’t go wrong…

PSA Dagger Problems…? [Here’s My Experience With It…]

/ by
psa dagger problems

Let’s face it… Palmetto State Armory is coming out with some really exciting new guns…

And one of their most popular new designs is without a doubt the PSA Dagger…

Now if you’re not aware, the PSA Dagger is a VERY affordable Gen 3 Glock clone…

And that makes a very enticing pistol in the eyes of many…

But is it a quality pistol worth the low price tag…? Or have there been a lot of PSA Dagger problems reported…?

Well, in this article I’ll be answering that question for you by discussing my experience with a PSA Dagger that I bought…

In the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of what you get with the PSA Dagger, and you should have all the information you need to determine if it’s a worthwhile pistol for you or not…

Let’s begin!

PSA Dagger Problems? – Is It A Good Quality Pistol…?

There are not too many PSA Dagger problems that are reported because the guns are generally reliable and accurate even at their low price point. The rare problems that do seem to occur appear to be caused mostly by out-of-spec parts, and Palmetto State Armory’s customer service has a good reputation for taking care of the issues. Overall, the PSA Dagger has a solid reputation at this point, and my personal Dagger has been a great gun to shoot…

My PSA Dagger Parts:

Slide: >> FDE Complete RMR Slide W/ Threaded Barrel

Optic: >> Swampfox Kraken

Weapon Light: >> Creative XP Glass Eagle

Below, I’ll give you more information about the PSA Dagger and I’ll also explain the things I’ve expereinced with my personal PSA Dagger Full Size S…

PSA Dagger Reliability…

Most people are reporting that their Dagger’s are very reliable, and even though my personal dagger has had a few hang ups, let me explain why I’m not worried about it…

For many years I’ve shot cheap reloaded ammunition. Malfunctions were rare in all of my guns, but recently I bought a batch from a company that I have never used before, and the stuff is absolutely terrible…

It’s caused malfunctions in my M&P9, my Sig P320, and even in my Glock 17 which has been one of my most reliable handguns…

So that same crappy, reloaded ammunition did cause some malfunctions in my PSA Dagger, but since I’ve been sticking to factory ammunition, I haven’t seen any problems pop up and the reliability has been solid.

PSA Dagger Accuracy…

The PSA dagger is basically a Gen 3 Glock clone, and the accuracy is similar to that that you get with a Glock…

That’s not a bad thing because most people can not out-shoot their Glocks, and it’s the same thing with the PSA Dagger…

what happened to the psa dagger

In fact, my PSA Dagger (which has a red dot on it) has been extremely accurate. I’ve shot groups that turn into ragged 1 ½ inch holes on paper targets at 7 yards, and it wasn’t even difficult to do (even though I’m just an average shooter).

So the accuracy that you get with the Dagger is excellent, especially if you run an optic on it.

PSA Dagger Trigger…

Some people have a problem with the PSA Dagger’s trigger, but I actually like it and I’ll explain why…

It’s a hinged trigger that is similar to the trigger on an M&P, and I think most people would prefer a bladed trigger that is more similar to a Glock…

I own several M&Ps, and I’ve never had an issue with the articulating hinged triggers that come on them…

psa dagger sw2 review

I’ve been able to shoot both fast and accurately with them, and it’s a similar experience when manipulating the trigger on the Dagger…

Also, sometimes after a long range session, the blade on a stock Glock trigger can start to get uncomfortable on my trigger finger because it digs in just a little bit…

But because the hinged trigger on the Dagger has a smooth face, you don’t run into that issue…

On top of that, the Dagger has a fairly light break right from the factory…

It’s a little lighter than the break on a stock Glock trigger (even a Gen 5), and I was pleasantly surprised by it the first time I dry fired my buddy’s Dagger…

Now, I usually polish my Glock triggers and replace the connectors (you can check out what I did to my Glock 17 here), So after that, they are better than the trigger on the PSA Dagger…

But right out of the box, I think the Dagger trigger is better, and I have no plans of changing the trigger on my personal Dagger because I think it’s actually pretty good, especially for a budget pistol.

PSA Dagger Frame…

Right now, there are two PSA Dagger frame sizes that you can get… the Compact and the Full Size S…

The Compact frame gives you the same size frame as a Glock 19, and the Full Size S is similar to a Glock 19X or Glock 45 frame…

My personal Dagger is the Full Size S because I like the full size grip for more control when shooting and because it takes 17 round magazines rather than the 15 round magazines that you get with the Compact frame…

psa dagger stippling

That being said, both frames are very ergonomic and comfortable in your hand…

I think they’re more comfortable than a Glock (even though I love Glocks) because they give you a more natural grip angle and just seem to have a more natural shape that fits in your hand…

On top of that, the PSA Dagger stippling is very good…

I don’t know how they create it, but it’s a very grippy texture which helps you get a solid hold on the gun…

And at the same time, it’s not aggressive at all and doesn’t scratch or dig into your hands…

So I really like the frame design of the PSA Dagger because it’s ergonomic, comfortable, and still gives you a great grip on the gun.

PSA Dagger Slide…

There are a number of different slide options that you can get for the PSA dagger, but my two favorite options are the Extreme Carry Cut and the Compact X…

The Extreme Carry Cut gives you serrations in both the front and the rear of the slide, and it also doesn’t have any windows…

I’m not totally against windows in handgun slides, but generally I prefer not to have them because they make it easier for outside debris to get into the slide of your gun…

psa dagger slide problems

Aside from that, the length on the Extreme Carry Cut slide is compact, which means it’s the same length as the slide on a Glock 19…

Overall, it makes my Dagger very similar to my Glock 45, and I’ve been really happy with the recoil impulse from it (which is fairly soft)…

That being said, I also really like the new Compact X slide which gives you a longer slide that is more similar to the Glock 17 or the new Glock 47…

I haven’t had a chance to pick up one of these slides yet, but it’ll probably be my next purchase because I really like the idea of a full size frame and full size slide on a Dagger (I think it will end up shooting even smoother than my Full Size S)…

Last, some people have reported that they solved PSA Dagger slide problems (if you have any – I didn’t) with a little bit of break in and you can do this for free by just racking the slide of your Dagger over and over again a few hundred times.

PSA Dagger Sights/ Optics…

The sights that come on the non optic cut Dagger models are good. They are metal, which makes them better than the plastic sights that you get on a Glock, and I think they give you a solid sight picture…

psa dagger optics

That being said, I recommend that you get an Optic Ready Dagger, and you can get a Dagger slide that features an RMR cut or a Docter cut

Out of the two, I would definitely go with an RMR cut because you’ll have a ton of better red dot options that are ready to mounted, and that’s exactly what my personal Dagger slide is cut for (an RMR).

Does The PSA Dagger Take Glock Mags…?

If you purchase a complete Dagger from PSA’s website, then your pistol will come with a Glock magazine made by Magpul…

These are good magazines, which will get you by when shooting at the range…

But I recommend getting Glock factory magazines if you ever intend to use your Dagger as a defensive gun…

My Glock factory magazines have worked flawlessly in my Dagger, and they’re better than the Magpul Glock magazines because they’re lined with metal rather than being all polymer…

psa dagger review

Aside from that, if you go with the Compact Dagger frame, the Glock 15 round magazines will sit flush in your gun. You can still use Glock 17 magazines, but they will stick out the bottom of your gun’s grip a little bit…

On the other hand, if you go with the Full Size S frame then you’ll have to use Glock 17 round (or greater) magazines.

Overall though, Glock factory magazines are super reliable and fairly affordable, so it’s a very good thing that the Dagger takes them.

PSA Dagger Price…

One of the cool things about the PSA Dagger is that you can buy a complete gun or buy a frame and a slide separately to ‘build’ your own gun…

That’s what I ended up doing. I ordered a Full Size S frame in Sniper Green, which I had sent to my FFL (because that’s legally the gun), and I ordered an FDE slide that was shipped straight to my home…

It all cost me well under $400 bucks, and I think it’s awesome that you can get a reliable, optic ready Glock clone for that amount of money…

On top of that, if you go with an iron sight only variant of the Dagger, you’ll be able to pick it up for less than $300, which is great.

PSA Dagger FAQS…

Is PSA Dagger as good as Glock 19?

Even though the PSA Dagger is a great pistol, I still believe the Glock 19  is a more reliable and better made pistol. Again, that doesn’t mean that the PSA Dagger is bad or isn’t the right gun for you because I love my PSA Dagger. But when I rack the slides on my Glocks, they’re smoother than my Dagger, and I trust their reliability more.

Will the PSA Dagger accept Glock parts?

Yes, almost all the parts on a PSA Dagger are compatible with Gen 3 Glock parts. There are a few small parts that are not interchangeable, but things like barrels, slides, frames, and sights are interchangeable along with most of the internal components. Some Glock holsters will work with the Dagger, but it’s better to get a dedicated PSA Dagger Holster.

Who builds the PSA Dagger?

The PSA Dagger is built by Palmetto State Armory or PSA for short. PSA is known for making affordable AR-15s, and they’re huge second amendment advocates (which I love!). They base many of their designs on customer feedback, and they really try to keep their products affordable so that the common man or woman can exercise their 2nd Amendment rights.

What triggers work with PSA dagger?

Most, if not all, Gen 3 Glock compatible triggers will work in the PSA Dagger. But as I mentioned earlier, I think the stock PSA Dagger trigger is pretty good, and doesn’t need to be upgraded.

What Glock is the PSA dagger equivalent to?

It depends on which variant of the PSA Dagger you’re referring to. The Compact frame and Compact Slide Dagger is the same size as a Glock 19. The Full Size S frame and the Compact slide is the same size as the Glock 19X and Glock 45. The Full Size S frame and the Compact X slide make it the same as a Glock 47 and similar to the size of a Glock 17

psa dagger long term review

Does the PSA dagger use Glock barrels? (What Barrel Is Compatible With The PSA Dagger?)

Yes, the PSA Dagger can use any barrel that is designed to work in a Gen 3 Glock. That being said, PSA has a wide selection of barrels that you can choose from including different colors and threaded and non threaded barrels.

Does the PSA dagger have the same grip angle as the Glock?

No. The Glock grip angle is more extreme and forces you to tilt your wrists more forward. The PSA Dagger grip angle is less extreme and allows you to shoot from a wrist angle that many people find to be more comfortable. Personally, I don’t mind either grip angle.

Will a Romeo zero fit a PSA dagger?

No, unless you use an adapter plate. Right now, the PSA Dagger can be had with an RMR optic cut or a Docter optic cut. The Romeo Zero features an RMSc footprint. All that being said, the new PSA Dagger Micro does feature an RMSc footprint and the Romeo Zero can be mounted on its slide.

What part of the PSA Dagger is serialized?

The serialized part of the PSA Dagger is the frame. This means if you purchase a Dagger frame from Palmetto State Armory’s website, it will have to be shipped to an FFL. That being said, if you purchase other parts for the Dagger (for example a slide and barrel) they can be shipped directly to your home (check your local laws as this might not apply in some states).
