Glock 45: The Basics

The Glock 45 is a relatively newer addition to the Glock family. It is often described as a hybrid design, combining a full-size frame with a compact slide. This combination offers a unique balance of control and concealability, making it suitable for a range of applications, from duty use to concealed carry.

Features of Glock 45

Glock 19: The Compact Veteran

The Glock 19, on the other hand, is a compact version of the original Glock 17. It has been immensely popular for its balance of size and capacity, making it a go-to choice for concealed carry, law enforcement, and even home defense.

Glock 19’s Compact Efficiency

  • Balanced Size and Capacity: The Glock 19 offers a compact frame and slide while still providing substantial firepower, making it versatile for various shooting scenarios.
  • Widespread Popularity: Its popularity in the concealed carry market is due to its size, which strikes a perfect balance between ease of carry and shooting performance.

Key Features Compared

Now, let’s delve into the specific features of each model, comparing them to understand their strengths and weaknesses.

Barrel and Slide Differences

  • Barrel Length: Both the Glock 45 and 19 have the same length barrel, providing similar accuracy and recoil management.

Enhanced Accuracy and Performance

  • Aggressive Polygonal Rifling: The GMB employs aggressive polygonal rifling, which enhances bullet velocity and improves accuracy over traditional rifling.
  • Target Crown: The target crown on the GMB helps protect the barrel and maintain accuracy, especially beneficial for shooters aiming for tighter groups.

Weight and Balance: The Role of Empty Magazines

The weight of a handgun can significantly affect handling and comfort, especially when carrying for extended periods.

Importance of Magazine Weight

  • Empty Magazine Weight: An empty magazine can impact the overall weight of the handgun. While the difference might be slight, it can influence the balance and feel of the gun, particularly in rapid-fire scenarios.
  • Extra Capacity vs. Weight: Higher capacity magazines, as potentially used in the Glock 45, can add extra weight compared to the standard magazines of the Glock 19.

Optics and Sights: Red Dot and Sight Radius

Optics compatibility and sight radius are crucial factors for many shooters, affecting both accuracy and speed of target acquisition.

Red Dot Optics Compatibility

  • Red Dot Readiness: Both Glock 45 and 19 are increasingly being offered in configurations that are red dot optics ready, allowing shooters to mount various red dot sights for improved aiming.
  • Sight Radius: The sight radius, or distance between the front and rear sight, can affect aiming accuracy. Both models offer a sufficient sight radius for accurate shooting, although the slightly longer slide of the Glock 19 might provide a marginal advantage in this aspect.

Aftermarket Customization: Triggers and Lanyard Loops

The ability to customize a firearm to individual preferences is a significant factor for many gun owners.

Aftermarket Triggers

  • Aftermarket Triggers: Both Glock models are compatible with a range of aftermarket triggers, allowing users to modify the trigger pull to their liking, potentially improving shooting performance and comfort.
  • Lanyard Loop: While not a common feature for civilian use, some Glock 45 and 19 models come with or allow for the addition of a lanyard loop, which can be a useful feature for duty or tactical purposes.

Overall Length and Handling

The overall length of a pistol influences its handling characteristics and how it carries, especially in a concealed manner.

Compactness and Concealability

  • Overall Length: The Glock 19, being a compact model, has a slightly shorter overall length than the Glock 45, which may be a deciding factor for those prioritizing concealability.

Holsters for Glock 43: Your Ultimate Guide for Concealed Carry

/ by

Welcome to your comprehensive guide on holsters for the Glock 43, a popular choice among concealed carry enthusiasts. In this guide, we’ll dive deep into the world of Glock 43 holsters, exploring different types, materials, and styles to help you find the perfect fit for your concealed carry needs.

Why Choose a Glock 43 for Concealed Carry

The Glock 43 is a top choice for concealed carry for several reasons. It’s a compact and lightweight pistol, making it easy to conceal under various types of clothing. Despite its small size, the Glock 43 is a reliable and effective firearm, perfect for self-defense. It’s no wonder that Glock pistols, particularly the Glock 43, have gained immense popularity among concealed carry practitioners.

Understanding Holster Types for the Glock 43

Inside the Waistband (IWB) Holsters

IWB holsters are the most popular choice for concealed carry, especially for the Glock 43. These holsters are designed to be worn inside your pants and clipped to your belt. They offer excellent concealment, as most of the gun and holster are hidden under your clothing. IWB holsters for Glock 43 come in various materials, including leather and Kydex, each providing different levels of comfort and retention.

Outside the Waistband (OWB) Holsters

OWB holsters, worn outside your pants, are another option for carrying your Glock 43. These holsters offer a quicker draw than IWB and are often more comfortable to wear for extended periods. They are an excellent choice for those who don’t need deep concealment or who carry in more gun-friendly environments.

Ankle Holsters

Ankle holsters are a unique choice for carrying a backup gun or for deep concealment needs. They wrap around your ankle and allow you to carry the Glock 43 discreetly. This type of holster is ideal for situations where other holster types are impractical.

Features to Look for in a Glock 43 Holster

Material and Durability

The most common materials for Glock 43 holsters are Kydex and leather. Kydex holsters are known for their durability and retention. They are molded specifically for the Glock 43, ensuring a secure fit. Leather holsters, on the other hand, offer a classic look and can be more comfortable against the skin.

Retention and Security

A good holster should securely hold your Glock 43, preventing accidental falls or unauthorized access. Look for holsters with adjustable retention screws or systems that allow you to customize the level of retention.

Comfort and Concealment

Comfort is crucial, especially if you carry your gun all day. The holster should not chafe or dig into your body. For concealed carry, choose a holster that offers a low profile and doesn’t print, or show the outline of your gun, through your clothing.

Making the Right Choice for Your Needs

Consider Your Lifestyle and Dress Code

Your daily activities and typical attire will influence your choice of holster. For instance, if you wear suits or looser clothing, an OWB holster might work well. However, for tighter clothing, an IWB or even an ankle holster might be more appropriate.

Understand Your Comfort and Access Needs

Some people prefer the quick access an OWB holster provides, while others prioritize the concealment of an IWB holster. Consider what’s more important for you and choose accordingly.

Try Different Holsters

If possible, try out different types of holsters before making a purchase. What works for one person may not be the best choice for another.

Holsters for Glock 43: Optimal Performance

When it comes to carrying your Glock 43, customization plays a key role in ensuring both comfort and functionality. Understanding the customization options available for your holster can greatly enhance your concealed carry experience.

Kydex Holsters: The Modern Choice

Kydex holsters have become increasingly popular for Glock 43 owners due to their durability and custom fit. Kydex is a thermoplastic material known for its rigidity and shape retention, providing a secure home for your Glock. The material’s strength ensures that the holster maintains its shape even when the gun is drawn, allowing for easy reholstering.

Benefits of Kydex Holsters for Glock 43

  • Durability: Kydex is resistant to moisture, so it won’t degrade or lose shape in adverse conditions. This makes it an excellent choice for everyday carry.
  • Custom Fit: Kydex holsters are often explicitly molded for the Glock 43, ensuring a snug and secure fit. This minimizes movement and reduces the chances of accidental discharge.
  • Maintenance: Kydex is easy to clean and maintain. A simple wipe-down with a damp cloth is usually enough to keep it in top condition.

Holster Security Features

Ensuring your Glock 43 stays securely in place is paramount for any concealed carrier. Modern holsters have various security features to keep your pistol safe and secure.

Retention Systems

  • Adjustable Retention Screws: Many Kydex holsters feature adjustable retention screws, allowing you to customize how tightly the holster grips your Glock 43.
  • Trigger Guard Lock: Some holsters have a locking mechanism that snaps around the trigger guard, ensuring the gun can only be drawn when the lock is disengaged.

Balancing IWB and OWB Holsters

Choosing between an Inside the Waistband (IWB) and an Outside the Waistband (OWB) holster often depends on personal preference and intended use. However, many concealed carriers find value in having both types for different situations.

IWB Holsters: For Ultimate Concealment

  • Deep Concealment: IWB holsters offer superior concealment, making them ideal for situations where discretion is key.
  • Customization Options: Many IWB holsters offer adjustable cant and ride height, allowing you to position the holster in the most comfortable and accessible spot on your waist.

OWB Holsters: For Comfort and Accessibility

  • Ease of Access: OWB holsters provide quicker access to your firearm, which can be advantageous in emergencies.
  • Comfort: For some, carrying a gun outside the waistband is more comfortable, especially for extended periods.

Additional Customization Options

  • Clip Types: Holster clips vary in size and design. Some clips are designed for thicker belts, while others are more versatile. The right clip will secure your holster and prevent it from shifting during movement.
  • Ride Height and Cant: Adjusting the ride height and cant (angle) of the holster can make a significant difference in both concealment and comfort.
  • Sweat Guard: A sweat guard is a small extension of the holster between your body and the gun. It not only protects the gun from perspiration but also increases comfort.

By exploring and understanding the various customization options for your Glock 43 holster, you can ensure a comfortable, secure, and effective concealed carry experience. Remember, the right holster setup can significantly impact your readiness and confidence as a responsible gun owner.

Choose a holster that allows for a full and firm grip on your Glock 43 while it’s still holstered. A good design will enable you to draw your gun effectively without adjusting your grip after drawing.

Comfort and Grip

The way the grip of your Glock 43 interacts with your body when holstered is another factor to consider. The grip should not poke or press uncomfortably against your body, as this can cause discomfort, especially when carrying for extended periods.

The Debate: IWB vs. OWB

Regarding concealed carry, the choice between Inside the Waistband (IWB) and Outside the Waistband (OWB) holsters often comes down to personal preference and specific needs.

IWB Holsters: Concealment and Comfort

  • Concealment: IWB holsters offer superior concealment, making them an excellent choice for those who require deep concealment.
  • Comfort: Modern IWB holsters are designed with comfort, featuring materials and shapes that conform to the body.

OWB Holsters: Accessibility and Ease

  • Accessibility: OWB holsters provide easier and quicker access to your gun, which can be advantageous in certain situations.
  • Ease of carrying: Many find OWB holsters more comfortable for long-term wear, especially when driving or sitting for extended periods.

Considering Different Scenarios and Lifestyles

Your daily activities, attire, and the situations you carry your Glock 43 can greatly influence your holster choice.

  • Professional Environment: For those who wear suits or more formal attire, a slim IWB holster might be more appropriate.
  • Active Lifestyle: If you’re often on the move, an OWB holster with a secure retention system might offer better stability and accessibility.
  • Casual Settings: In more relaxed environments where deep concealment isn’t as critical, you might prefer the comfort and ease of an OWB holster.

In conclusion, when choosing a holster for your Glock 43, consider the fit, comfort, accessibility, and how the holster aligns with your lifestyle and carrying needs. Whether you opt for a Kydex IWB holster for its secure fit and concealment or an OWB holster for its ease and accessibility, the right choice will provide you with a reliable and comfortable concealed carry experience.

Holosun EPS Vs EPS Carry [Find Out Which Pistol Optic Is Right For You With This Comparison Of The Holosun EPS And EPS Carry…]

/ by
holosun eps vs eps carry

Enclosed Pistol Sights are all the rage right now…

And it’s easy to see why…

After all, they’re just as fast and accurate as traditional open-emitter reflex sights…

But they have the extra durability and reliability of being fully enclose so that nothing can potentially block the emitter…

Now all that being said, many enclosed pistol optics are large and blocky…

They take up a lot of space, they don’t have a very large window size, and truth be told, they look kinda funny (some people call them ‘mailbox sights’ haha)…

But Holosun (which is one of my favorite optics companies) has managed to produce two options that give us an enclosed emitter, without the bulk, blocky-ness, and small window size…

Those two red dot sights are…

  • The Holosun EPS
  • The Holosun EPS Carry
ImageOptics

holosun eps carryHolosun EPS Carry – Get Best Pricing Here!

And in this Holosun EPS Vs EPS Carry comparison, I’m going to share with you how these two fantastic sights are similar and also what makes them different…

In the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of what you’re getting with the EPS or the EPS Carry, and you should be able to determine which is going to work best for you…

Let’s get into the comparison…

Holosun EPS Vs EPS Carry – Which Pistol Optic Is Right For You…?

The Holosun EPS and EPS Carry are very similar enclosed emitter pistol optics. They’re both made from 7075 T6 Aluminum. The both come in the same reticle options, and they both come with 50,000 hours of battery life, Shake Awake technology, and side loading battery trays. The main differences is that they’re different sizes. The EPS is designed to be mounted on full size, double stack handguns. Whereas, the EPS Carry is smaller and designed to be mounted on single stack or slimline conceal carry pistols…

Below, I’ll address the similarities and differences between these two sights in greater detail.

Holosun EPS And EPS Carry Pistol Red Dots – How Are They Similar…?

The Holosun EPS and the EPS Carry have several similarities, and in the following sections we’ll take a closer look at the areas in which these two pistol optics are the same…

New EPS And EPS Carry – Materials & Construction…

Both the full size EPS and the EPS Carry are built using high quality materials, and as a result the Holosun EPS pistol optic line is very tough…

holosun eps carry on glock 19

For example, they both have a sight housing made from 7075 T6 Aluminum, which is an extremely tough material, and they’re both black anodized which helps protect them from corrosion…

On top of that, they’re both IPX8 waterproof, so they can easily handle rainy, snowy, or wet conditions, and they’re both shockproof, so they can handle the punishment an optic takes when being mounted on a handgun slide.

EPS And EPS Carry Lens Clarity And Reticle…

Both the EPS and the EPS Carry use aspherical glass which makes both of them have a very clear lens with little-to-no fish eye effect…

This gives you a clear and crisp field of view when looking through either optic, and that includes the edges of the sight window (which is great when your shooting)…

On top of that, both the EPS and the EPS carry come in a few different reticle variations which include…

  • 2 MOA dot reticle versions
  • 6 MOA dot reticle versions
  • Multi-Reticle System versions

I personally like all of these reticles options, but the premium version for both the EPS and the EPS Carry is definitely the Multiple Reticle System versions…

With these models, you can toggle between 3 different reticle options that are programmed into your sight, and the 3 reticle options include: a 2 MOA reticle, a 32 MOA circle, or a combination of the two (the Holosun Circle Dot Reticle)…

holosun eps multi reticle

I really like the Circle Dot reticle because it’s extremely quick and easy for you eye to pick up when you present your handgun…

But at the same time, you still have a small 2 MOA dot in the center for shots that require a high degree of accuracy…

It’s basically the best of both worlds, and that’s why I like it…

That being said, it is a little bit (not much) more costly than the standard 2 MOA dot or 6 MOA reticle versions…

And even those those reticle options are much more simple, they can still help you shoot more accurately and faster with a little bit of practice…

Holosun EPS Footprint…

Both the Holosun EPs and the EPS Carry feature the Holosun K series footprint. This is the same footprint that you’ll find on other Holosun red dot sights such as the 507k and the 407k

This footprint was chosen by Holosun for the EPS series because of the location of the screw holes…

eps vs eps carry footprint

You see, they’re far back enough that they allow Holosun to have just enough space to enclose the emitter in the EPS and EPS carry…

And at the same time, they allow you to have a top-down screw mounting system rather than a clamping system like the AimPoint ACRO, Swampfox Kraken and many other enclosed emitter pistol optics…

I think the choice of using the Holosun k-series footprint (which is nearly the same as the RMSC footprint) was a smart one because it’s a widely known and used footprint that’s already in the marketplace…

On top of that, it makes it really easy to get both the EPS and the EPS Carry mounted onto your gun.

I should also mention that both the EPS and EPS Carry feature an extremely low deck height. And this is a fantastic feature for 2 reasons in my view…

First of all, it allows you to use standard height iron sights to back up your optic (so you don’t need to have suppressor height sights)…

And second, it makes it easier, faster, and more natural to find your dot (at least that’s the case for me).

Holosun EPS And EPS Carry Battery Life And Brightness Settings…

Both the Holosun EPS and EPS Carry have outstanding battery life. First of all they both use one CR1620 battery which is able to power the sight for around 50,000 hours (which is over 5 years)…

In addition to that both the EPS and EPS Carry feature Holosun’s Shake Awake technology which is going to save your battery life even more…

And some models actually feature a solar panel (the Solar Failsafe) which will back up your battery if it ends up dying on you…

holosun eps carry

On top of that, both designs feature a side loading battery tray and that’s important because it means you’ll be able to change out the battery on your site without having to remove it from the slide of your pistol…

Now as for the brightness settings, with both sights you get a total of10 daylight brightness settings and two night vision settings…

The daylight brightness settings get extremely bright on the high end so you won’t have any issues with them washing out in bright Sun and the two night vision settings are cool if you have night vision equipment and want to do some shooting in the dark…

All in all though, both the EPS and EPS Carry have excellent battery life, and they both have built-in technology to extend the battery life that you get while at the same time giving you an extremely bright reticle.

Holosun EPS And EPS Carry Reflex Sights – How Are They Different…?

Even though the EPS and the EPS Carry are very similar, they do have some key differences which is what we’ll be discussing now…

Let’s begin by discussing the size of both optics…

Holosun EPS Size…

The Holosun EPS is a full size pistol optic, and it’ll work best on a full-size pistol on the range or in defensive use…

It can also be used on a conceal carry gun, especially if it’s a double stack gun like a Glock 19, but as you’ll see when we look at the dimensions, it’s a larger optic than the EPS Carry…

holosun eps vs eps carry dimensions

The full size EPS has a height of .99 inches, a width of 1.18 inches, and a length of 1.61 inches…

One of the key benefits of the full size EPS over the EPS Carry is that it gives you are much more wide field of view because it has a larger sight window.

Holosun EPS Carry Size…

As the name implies, the EPS Carry if one of Holosun’s carry optics offerings. It is designed to be mounted on single stack or slimline conceal carry guns like the Glock 48

The dimensions on the EPS Carry are a height of .95 inches, a width of 1.05 inches, and a length of 1.61 inches…

holosun eps carry dimensions

So the width and height of the EPS Carry are shorter than that of the EPS, and the main advantage is that its a more compact sight which is more comfortable and easier to conceal carry.

Included Rear Sight (For Defensive Carry Sub Compact Pistols)…

One of the other differences between these two sights is that the EPS Carry features a rear sight built into the sight housing…

This was done because some optics ready conceal carry pistols don’t have space for a rear sight when an optic is mounted…

The full size EPS doesn’t have a rear sight molded into the sight housing, and I don’t think there’s a need for it as long as your gun has a rear sight mounted.

Holosun EPS Carry Vs EPS (Full Size) – Final Thoughts…

So to sum it all up, both the EPS and EPS Carry are fantastic enclosed emitter pistol sights…

They’re both built to be tough. They both have outstanding battery life and reticle options, and they both have very clear sight windows…

The main difference is that they’re different sizes…

So if your gun is a double stack or full size pistol, I recommend you go with the Holosun EPS because it will give you a larger sight window and be a better overall fit…

You can’t go wrong with either of these two sights because they’re both well made, cutting edge designs, and the only difference you really need to consider between them is their size.

PSA Dagger Holster Compatibility [Here’s What You Need To Know & A Top 7 List…]

/ by
psa dagger holster compatibility

I love my PSA Dagger…

But early on, one of the major concerns that I had was if I would be able to find a holster that would fit it…

There weren’t many options when it first came out, which led many to wonder whether there was any PSA Dagger holster compatibility or not…

Luckily things have changed now, and there are several great holster options that are specifically designed for the PSA Dagger

Below, I’ll share with you my Top 7 List of of the best PSA Dagger Holsters available

But before we get into the list, let’s talk about the elephant in the room and answer if the Dagger is compatible with G19 Holsters (after all it is a Gen 3 Glock clone)…

PSA Dagger Holster Compatibility – Does The PSA Dagger Fit A Glock 19 Holster?

So does the Dagger fit in the Glock 19 Holsters…? The answer is yes… and no. Some G19 holsters will fit the Dagger and some will not…

Part of the reason some G19 holster won’t fit the Dagger is because it has a completely different trigger guard design than a Glock, and many holsters use this as an area to create retention…

Now, I have found that Glock 19 holsters that are designed to work with a light like the Streamlight TRL-1 will typically fit the Dagger if that light is mounted on it…

But really, if you decide to get a Glock 19 holster for your PSA Dagger, it’s kind of a gamble as to whether or not it will be compatible…

Unless you’ve seen another person show that it fits.

Top 7 List Of Palmetto State Armory Dagger Holsters…

IWB (Inside The Waistband) & Other Concealed Carry Holsters…

1. Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB Holster

psa dagger retention holster

My favorite inside the waistband holster for the PSA Dagger Compact is the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB Holster, and there are many reasons why…

First of all, if you’re going to conceal carry your Dagger, this is one of the most (if not THE most) comfortable holsters on the market…

Part of the reason it’s so comfortable is that it’s a hybrid holster with a neoprene material that fits against your body…

It also features adjustable clips, and you can adjust the cant and ride height so you can completely customize the holster to your comfort level and body type…

Now, because of the hybrid design, I do think it’s best suited for a carry in the 3, 4, or 5 o’clock positions. So keep that in mind if you’re interested in this option..

But it also features a lifetime warranty, so if you have any issues that arise with your holster you should be taken care of.

2. We The People Holsters PSA Dagger Compact Red Dot Optic Cut IWB Holster

best holster for psa dagger

Number 2 on my list and another amazing Dagger holster is the We The People Holsters PSA Dagger Compact Red Dot Optic Cut IWB Holster…

This is a comfortable and discreet kydex holster for the Dagger. One of the things that I really like about it is the adjustable retention, so you can really get the perfect amount of tension when drawing your handgun…

Also, like the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck holster I mentioned above, you can adjust the ride and cant on this holster, and that really allows you to tailor it for your personal comfort, body type, and carry preferences…

On top of that, the clip is also adjustable so you can get the ride height just right, and the protective sweat guard helps keep the gun separated from your body, so you don’t end up sweating on your gun during those hot summer days (this is something that’s happened to me before)…

Now two things that I think separate this holster from the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck that I mentioned in number 1 are…

Number 1 this holster is better for Appendix carry if you prefer to carry in the 1 or 2 o’clock positions (and you can add on a concealment claw for even better concealment)…

And number 2, this holster has a cut out for a red dot sight. So if you have a Dagger with an optic on it like an RMR or a Holosun (and suppressor height sights), it will easily fit into this holster (which is great)…

So all in all, this holster from We The People Holsters is another fantastic option, especially if you want to conceal carry your dagger with an optic on it and/or in the appendix carry position.

3. Alien Gear Cloak Shoulder Holster

psa dagger compact holster

The third option on my list is the Alien Gear Cloak Shoulder Holster, which is a totally unique and really cool shoulder holster for the PSA Dagger…

This is an extremely comfortable holster which features padded neoprene straps, and you also get a magazine holster on the opposite shoulder from your gun…

On top of that, the straps are adjustable. So you can customize the fit to your own comfort and preferences, and the belt hooks keep the whole system close to your body and secure when you’re moving around…

I also like that the retention can be adjusted, so you can get a smooth draw, and that the holster and the mag carrier have an adjustable cant so you can maximize the comfort and concealment of your pistol…

All in all, it’s just an awesome system if you want to carry from a shoulder holster, and I also love the fact that is comes in black leather or in that classic brown leather holster color which just looks so cool!

4. We The People Holsters PSA Dagger Compact With Streamlight TLR-1/1S/HL Light IWB Holster

psa dagger holster with light

The last IWB holster on my list is the We The People Holsters PSA Dagger Compact With Streamlight TLR-1/1s/HL Light IWB Holster

This holster is very similar to the We The People Holster that I mentioned above. It still features adjustable retention, so you can get the perfect draw…

And you can adjust the ride and cant of your handgun, and adjust the location of the clip as well to make sure your Dagger is comfortable to carry around…

It’s also cut for a red dot if you have an optic and suppressor sights on your Dagger like I do, and it has the protective sweat guard as well to keep your gun separated from your body as you carry…

The main difference is that this holster will allow you to mount and carry the Streamlight TLR-1 series of lights…

Right now, the Streamlight TRL-1 HL is my go-to weapon light, and that’s why I chose this particular model, but keep in mind that We The People Holsters makes this holster to fit the X300 Surefire lights as well (if that’s your preferred go-to light)…

Either way, this is a great option because having a weapon light on your carry gun is a great idea for 2 reasons…

First of all, most defensive shootings take place at night, and a weapon light will allow you to identify your target before shooting (which is absolutely essential)…

And second, a weapon light adds weight to the muzzle end of your Dagger’s frame and makes it a little easier to shoot…

So again, this is a fantastic option if your going to carry your Dagger IWB and you’re going to run a light on it.

OWB (Outside The Waistband) Holsters…

5. Alien Gear Cloak Mod OWB Holster

psa dagger retention holster

The first Outside the Waistband holster on my list is the Alien Gear Cloak Mod OWB Holster, and there are many reasons why it’s a great option…

First of all, this holster is built to be strong and give good retention on your handgun. It also has a wide open-mouth design with allows you to easily holster your gun and just give you a perfect holster fit with the Dagger…

I also like that it’s fully adjustable for the cant, angle, and retention level that you desire, so you can really customize it for your comfort level…

And it also comes with the paddle or belt slide clips, so you have a couple of options for how you can carry your gun OWB without having to spend any extra money on your holster system…

My one knock on it is that it’s currently not made for an optics ready Dagger, but if you don’t run an optic on your dagger slide, that’s not even an issue for you…

All in all, this is a fantastic OWB holster option because it’s fully adjustable, easy to wear, and comfortable.

6. We The People Holsters PSA Dagger Compact Red-Dot Optic Cut OWB Holster

This is another great option from We The People Holsters. It is fully adjustable meaning that you can adjust the ride, cant, and retention of your handgun to ensure the perfect fitment on your body…

And if also includes a sweat guard and the We The People Holsters paddle or belt clip system which is a very secure and comfortable OWB mounting system…

Also, unlike the Alien Gear Cloak Mod that I mentioned right above, this holster is ready for an optic ready handgun…

This is a big deal for me personally, because like I said, I’ve got my Dagger set up with the Swampfox Kraken currently, and I need IWB and OWB carry holsters that will accommodate that…

So this is another great option because it gives you everything you need to carry your pistol OWB, and it also fits the Dagger like a glove.

psa dagger holster owb

The last holster on my list is the We The People Holsters PSA Dagger Compact With Streamlight TLR-1/1S/HL List OWB Holster…

This holster is very similar to the one above, but the main difference is that it’s obviously a light bearing holster…

It still gives you adjustable retention, cant, and ride, and it also comes with the We The People Holsters OWB paddle and belt loop system…

But this holster will give you a perfect fit is you’re running any of the Streamlight TLR-1 series weapon lights on your Dagger’s accessory rail…

Like many other shooters, you might like to run a light or laser on your gun, and I really like that We The People Holsters is making Dagger specific molds that are set up for popular light options from Streamlight and Surefire…

So again, this is another great OWB option especially if you’re going to open carry your firearm outdoors at night.
